I shouldn't have to preface my opinion with "IMO" for you to know it's my opinion.

Anyway, I'd rather see some examples of why it's not film accurate.
i agree with the first part, but as for the second half...
if you don't see it already, what's the reason to try and show you anything? if at least you were in HT team :D

Coming into collecting, as a guy who wanted the best value for his money and is a fan of the old school predator movies, I felt like CH was the best call for me, due to how boring and plain jane the classic is.

Well there are plenty of reasons it is not film accurate. There's No need to start this again but IMO this figure still rocks the masked look and while obviously having other equally accurate looks would be preferable, I'm fine with my masked city hunter whose face will never see the light of day again. Better figure than classic for me too. I can understand those who are already sick of the city hunter design wouldn't like that this isnt a vast improvement but still in no ways is this a bad figure all things considered. It just isn't great.

Because if you're going to make an argument, at least be able to back it up. haha
Otherwise you have no argument.

Dont be surprised if no one wants to touch this, if you look at the older posts its was a huge debate with pictures and anger in are hearts because Hot toys drop the ball.
But i am easier about this subject i like my p2 as others do.But the closed mandibles is way off

sun is blue

Looks great to me. I'd just love to actually hear the criticisms. I've found that, in toy collecting especially, People will say a lot of things to feel good about not spending money, or justify their own purchases over other pieces.

Looks spot on to me.

Well I'm not so sure about the sun part, but maybe it is blue in Russia:dunno
:rotfl
what a ****up )
Stan Winston Mask:

double's mask, widely different from KPH predator mask not only in shapes but also in painting.
but still a lot better than tsang head with ridiculous mouth area and small head.
and that's only one part. there are also lots of armor pieces )

i've found that, in toy collecting especially, people will always assume that somebody doesn't have money, i guess they need that to justify their purchase on failed pieces :D

Looks great. Just like the movie.
Still don't see these huge problems. Haha. You can cherry pick scenes or masks where his mouth is at a slightly different angle but whatever.

It has nothing to do with having money. Reading comprehension is a must.

But I'll just quote Eamon here as he said it best.

saying it's an epic fail is just wrong and much like something a teenager would say.

"Epic Fail" was said by me and I stand behind it. City Hunter is my favourite looking Predator. I was so blown away back in the day watching this movie in the theatres at how far they pushed the Predator Design from the original. Looking at the older V1 HT CH you can sense and relate to the head sculpt. This version was a opportunity to go above and beyond and throw the "WOW" factor into the sculpt. Instead they produced below par unrecognizable head sculpt nothing to the outstanding movie counterpart.

Eamon can say anything he wants, as well as everybody including you and me.
there is no magic power in his sayings over the reality, and the reality is that headsculpt, used materials, paint apps and quality, body movement and armor shapes & details are not what one should expect from HT price, especially when this is a remake in 2013 when tons of reference material float free in internet.

This is a battle of words that cannot be won.
Everyone has there personal opinions on the matter and will not be swayed no matter what.

I think you guys are just a very small vocal minority with a side of ********. Most reviews I've seen are very positive.

I love mine though. Looks boss with the arm off and the breather mask! And the eyes are so well painted.

As king Willie would say, "You can't see the eyes of the demon, until him come callin'"

In the end that's all that matters...you are happy and satisfied with your HT purchase. No one can take that away from you.

Congrats and enjoy!!! :clap

Ouch. Whatever, I love my City Hunter and nothing can take that away from me. I hate the inaccuracies but for me it's still a grade A figure with acceptable flaws.
