i have a repainted P2 head, too, but i'm too afraid of replacing those tentacles. i feel i'll be bored on first 1/4 of them.

did it took you lots of time?
did you just take them all off or replaced them one by one to match the places for the old/new pair?
It's good to be able to filter out the bull**** from the facts. I think a lot of people have good opinions and valid criticisms, but then others might go a bit too far and have their own bias towards a particular release over another.
I like making educated purchases, especially at 200+ a pop, but again I weigh it against my own opinion first and foremost.
A few folks have ragged on City Hunter, but I was drawn to it first due to the colors, accessories, and love of the film. I took their considerations into account, but ultimately went with what I wanted.
Anyway! Finally took a decent shot of my CH! I tried to get that helicopter spotlight look from the end of the film:
Really love this figure. The med pack, the diecast blades, the disc weapon, the rebreathers, and the stub arm! Not to mention the bloody skull and the spear! So much to do. haha.
Love how the eyes pop.
Agreed. I'm tired of Hot Toys' half-assery.These customs with the new head show just how great HT could have made this guy but didn't. It's a shame

thanks! i hope to use that info one day.The dreadlocks quantity on both head sculpts are different. The old head got more dreads and the new head got less dreads.
I just removed all the bulky dreads only on the old head and replaced them with the new dreads. And i replace them one by one to match the places according to the new head.
Ordered this guy yesterday from mothers basement and it arrived today. It was a pleasant surprise this close to Christmas.
I originally passed on this one after going over all the in hand photos but with the elder coming I decided I wanted more of the clan. Once I attached the mask and spear I was glad I went with this one and not Snake.
note how the right shoulder armor/left hip armor turn together with the limbs
thank you guys, i like the pose, too
that is a mask from TD. while making a helmet for new P2, he also reworked his previous custom for old P2 - added some details, fixed some shapes and repainted it. that's the one, i just replaced the lenses. i don't know if he made one for me or several.
Was sick of having a loose head where the ball joint wouldnt fit into the headsculpt properly! So tried the tiny bit of boiling water in the headsculpt hole for a few seconds, and it managed to soften it up so that the ball joint fit in better! YES!! Now my City Hunter is all bobble head like!!!
