I have a question for all you fellow 'Freaks' out there... What do all of you suppose is going to happen with the original HT P2 once this "new and improved P2 City Hunter lands in our hands? Predictions anyone?? Prices go up? Prices gonna plummet like original P1 did when Classic came out? Or is Orig P2 going to continue to be a pretty sought-after piece?

The P2 is already been dropping, there's a couple freaks here this week alone that have listed theirs for under $200, one was $175. I don't think it will be as hard to sell as the P1 because some may opt to put the original P2 head on the new P2. I want to see what the effect will be like when they re-release the AVP pred(s).

Agreed. That muted, dark gray-blue would look great next to Guardian. Similar palettes.

Probably the same way as the MK I, prices will drop. That was up for similar prices as the AVP figures until the MK I 2 was announced.

I've accepted Hot Toys for how they are. As far as their figures go, it's pretty much whatever looks cool. I do, however, want the P2 Elder mandibles to look at least 80% accurate. That threshold may seem a little low, but if you think about it, the current mandibles are only 40% there. And you can't expect perfection from Tsang, sadly.

Mandables are important for a Pred so they need to be somewhat accurate. Not like the new CH!

I just have a threshold for accuracy. City Hunter still strikes me as acceptable, but his mandibles on Elder will be a major turn-off. Add to that the fact that the original Elder looked fantastic (not perfect, but very close). The remake should, if it can't outdo the previous one, at least be in the same ballpark as the first.

And you can't expect perfection from Tsang, sadly.

Yet around the board fans are expecting perfection on other major characters.

As an example; if you look at how the Joker sculpt has been progressed over the years and it's continued to improve everytime. With this though I don't even think Tsang tried to better the first P2 sculpt; I don't even think he was bothered about matching it.

If any new products are revealed that we didn't know about before, threads will most-likely be created in the appropriate sections. If it's something we've seen, but not at SDCC, pics will be posted in the existing threads.
