Just got Cap in today! Very pleased with him.

Snapped a few quick pics of him with my phone:

I prefer my figures in neutral poses. He goes very well with Hawkeye!

Can't wait for Black Widow next!

Just picked mine up today and stopped at Ikea for another Detolf. Looks like I got my work cut out for me. I should also be setting up Iron Monger, Mk V, Mk VI, Batman and I have not decided what to do with Jim Gordon yet. I am not really wowed by him.

Nice Cap setup there dude! I'm not a big huge Captain America fan either but all the figures (well, the ones I have/will have) are really great! I hope to pick up the Rescue version at some point. Or just the head if I can get it cheap enough. Funds are pretty much depleted.

Couple of things:

Nice figure. A bit on the stiff side.

And he's really tall! Taller than reeve superman!

I like the figure, but wish he was a tad shorter.

Has he got extra long foot pegs ? If he does maybe replace with standard ones, that should cut him down to size

Technically, Cap is supposed to be 6'4 and Supes is 6'3. You could play that angle.

I don't want to come off like a hater but was anyone disappointed by how dark the blue of the uniform was once they had it in hand? I see so many pics online where the blue just pops and looks great, it was kind of jarring to see how muted it is under normal conditions. I'm sure Hot Toys did their due diligence and the blue is exactly the same shade of the practical costume, it just doesn't look the same to the naked eye. This was my first HT, so I'm new to the whole 'internet pics vs. reality in hand' thing.

That may work, but I think he's tailored for this specific body type. It can look off if I did that.

Heh, to be fair HT Reeve should be a little taller than he is but I've come to appreciate how he doesn't utterly tower over HT Keaton Bats as he would have in real life.

But yeah, Cap can't be taller. Cut him down to size!
