I was on the fence on jumping into this line. Fast forward, I am now two Avengers deep and I LOVE how they look together. Very happy I made the purchase. So many poses!

In this video, I'm also showcasing the custom Cap in a civilian outfit I pieced together for extra accessories I had already.

Hope you enjoy the video.

Heating? No. Is that standard operating procedure?

How do you heat them?

Thanks for the reply.

You either use hot water, or a blowdryer to heat the hands up. They'll become softer and easier to handle. When the hand is in position you just let it cool and that's it.

A more permanent solution, albeit a bit more risky, is to use a pocketknife and slightly "drill" the hole in the hand a bit bigger, so the joint will fit. Be carefull though not to make the hole too big, because the hand will fall off the joint then.

Good luck!

Just heard Geroges St. Pierre the UFC Welterweight champion will feature in Captain America 2 as Batroc the leaper. Can't wait to see that

Does anyone have a close up comparison between the two masked Caps(TFA and TA)? And opinions on the better likeness between the masked portraits?

This happened with a soft dry cloth?

Sadly the star is embossed.

LOL i think that the pic i posted of my defective shield.

Interestingly enough the areas you see where the paint fell of is the only areas where the paint did not electorplate properly.

Tried repainting it, couldnt get the color to match correctly. While doing so i tried to see if the rest of the paint would would come off as easily as the area that was affected but it didnt so its clear that it wasnt the paint that was the issue but the electoplating process itself as some areas the paint adhered properly and on other areas it didnt. (I blame QC)

Ended up purchasing an exta shields of Ebay. Put old cap in his acrylic case and havent touched him since.

Sideshow still has him for free shipping...not sure if you can get it for better than that....Mine will be here today....
So? Do I need to seal the Shield? Gloss?

Got mine today...Great, great figure....of course my strap on the BD shield came un done when I tried to put it on. I had to superglue it back so all is well.

Some crappy iPhone pics....enjoy

Captain America in da house!!
I gave him a very simple pose, right in front of the group.
If I'm not too busy with work, I'll snap some pics tomorrow.

Yeah, I'm about an hour and a half from both of those. Going to Great Wolf Lodge this weekend though :D Hopefully after my Cap arrives. Dont want it to end up in FedEx limbo if I dont sign for it.
