Just hoping that HT's QC will do a BETTER job with the placement of the star & "A" on the mask when this fig ships--just don't want to go through what one of the Freaks had to deal with when he ordered through Sideshow due to the defects from his Capt A FA.
Nowadays buying HT figures is just like drawing the lottery, either u get a figure with minimal QC or you get one with many defects.
My TFA Captain America comes with a crooked right star on his bicep and my Mark 2 Unleashed had slight scratches on his left arm.
I was totally lucky with DX-09 Batman as it was all good.

funny thing is, i almost paid $185 for the TFA
im getting cap w/ full HS at a cheaper price
explanation works for cap too imo
i hope the engraved A on the new helmet would
prevent this from happening again

Damn, in some movie stills, the helmet looks fine. In others, argh, I just wish they made the helmet slightly more angular, and gave him a chin strap.
This is the first time where I felt a mask/helmet only looks good with certain angles as opposed to looking good every angle.

Like someone else already mentioned, I think HT missed a golden opportunity by not offering interchangeable mouth pieces for the masked head. This should be the standard for any masked figure where the lower half of the face is visible. Imagine a Captain America with a smiling, angry and stern face. Seems like a no brainer to me.
True. But remember everyone's been calling for a head sculpt for this figure. Now HT delivers and everyone now has better ideas.
There's no pleasing people. That's why politicians don't even bother.
I'm going to wait for Thor and Cap movies part 8 before I buy them. and I might even change my mind and wait for parts 9

i think it's due to the clothes being baggy for more articulation
