Not much. I like the fact that they included a BD sheild. I plan on using it for my TFA: CA.

I wish he came with a cheaper price tag AND a machine gun

If I had to choose between a gun or the BD shield or Chitauri weapon, I'd take what we got. You can get a gun easy enough. The others, not so easy. :)

I do agree a hand to hold a gun would have been nice, though it seems like you could put one in his left hand easy enough.

I used the Tea Party analogy because there are people here who wish to go back to a comic book time when the _______ knew their place.

There are people here who wished Ultimates stuff stayed in the Ultimates universe and you're petty to assume that has anything to do with race.

Reading comprehension must not be your strong suit.

Nor yours....I never said race (hence the blank)....but no matter what you put there my point is still valid. The fact YOU put race there says more about you than anything....

and more power to them!!! There are also people who like that certain Ultimate things have moved over to 616. My original comment was I'd like to see 616 Cap's UNIFORM (not race/color/etc) move closer to the movie look and drop the fishscales and pirate boots. That's all I said. I didn't bring race up...but then again I didn't shy away from commenting when it did

now back to the topic at hand (I think the consensus is that the side convo needs to die...why don't we let it?) I think it's painfully apparent that you are a 616 supporter...just because one can acknowledge something that looks cool from an outside source and like to see it elsewhere doesn't mean others are not. Again I am more than willing to move on and talk about what we are supposed to be talking about...are you? And on that note:

I need to see the additional hands again....I didn't recall seeing a hand capable of hold a weapon....if there is I'll be hitting ebay for a rifle to give Cap...

Of course you (and people who think like this) woudn't As long as the comic book universe in 95 percent white and male there seems to be happiness. Try to get in some diversity and then it becomes an issue because certain people can't "understand." There ARE female/minority/etc. comic book readers who would like to feel just as much a part of the comic book universe as white folks have for the past 30+ years.

If the story would have been exactly the same (as you pointed out) then why complain if there is a nonwhite/female character? So if Nick Fury is Nick Fury then whether he looks like David Hasselhoff of Sam Jackson should not matter storywise (because it doesn't) but it does acknowledge that white folks (READ males) aren't the only ones capabale of being heroic and/or running things...

somethimes the comic book community is just like the tea party....I feel like I'm watching Fox News here based on the comments of some....:gah::dunno

Woooooow there pard! Step down off the old soap box there.

For a person that claims to hate marginalisation, you're certainly laying down a good few margins of your own.

I have no problem with black, Asian or gay superheroes. At. All. But is it too much to ask to create new superheroes that fall naturally into those demographics, rather than change pre-existing ones just to suit the idea of "let's change for change's sake"

I am not Chinese, but as a nipper I really enjoyed Shang Chi (good grief, really showing my age there!) the master of Kung Fu, I thought he was super cool in fact. I had not problem whatsoever when Luke Cage replaced The Thing in the Fantastic Four (FF#168)...the whole thing about X-Men is that there is something different about them and I love X-Men....and so on.

Please do not be lumping me in with the rest of the right wing nut jobs.

sorry, wasn't really clear on that.

I meant to say that Cap's shield didn't look like it took any damage (ie. like scuff marks) like it did in TFA. Just looked like it was covered in dirt and alien blood (?)

Maybe the paint was weak in the 40's and has gotten better now? :dunno
