There was someone else who did a hair mod and it was excellent. Not sure why the person who did the hair above thought it was a good idea to go curly.

Because Thor 2 costume is more beautiful than 1 and Avengers. Gods are vain!

I've decided I'll replace my Thor 1 figure with the Thor 2 figure and just get the Avengers Thor for my Avengers display

Personally, I like the Avengers costume the best of the 3, followed closely by the Thor 2 version.

I'm sorry.. but everything about HT Thor v1 is barf!! I"m really happy with the lessons learned and improvements that they are incorporating with the Avengers Thor figure. I'm really looking forward to Avengers Thor the most out of all the Avengers.

I never was a fan of the original toy. Just too... plain.

I'm a big advocate of rooted hair cause when done right, it adds realism to the figure.

But, well...when not done right...it can look like Avengers Barbie.

Well, just like how people complain about seeing the same unoriginal story in a movie,
people would get bored by a movie character that's so monotonous.

Changing costumes helps add visual impact for every new Thor movie.
Movie-goers pay to see another Thor movie. So why not give a new set of stuff to see.

Because they're trying to bring in the people who just want to look at Chris. You can't see his face that well with the helmet on. Not saying I agree with it,but thats what they are doing.
