LOL, I mentioned in the Loki thread that Tony was making Thor + Loki capes, and the response is "what's wrong with the capes, they look fine!?"

Tony posts photos of the capes here and the response is
:clap :yess::rotfl

Well you kind of have to expect that, Tony is a rockstar around here lol.

I have to say, I like that cape that comes on him. I can see why people don't, but I actually quite like it.

Video review of Hot Toys MMS175 Avengers Thor

[ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zxOx1ozik50[/ame]

The Mighty Thor, whom wields the mighty Mjolnir! Hot Toys have done it again with a stunning Representation of Chris Hemsworth as Thor from The Avengers. A brilliant likeness from head to toe, boots to hair.
Thor comes with a small parts count, that being said he comes with one of my favourite items so far. Mjolnir, Thors hammer. Made of a mixture of metal, plastic and leather it is a stunning piece.

Where the figure falls down is the articulation, though not as bad as you may think. His legs are well articulated especially in the ankle and knees, the split boot/shin guard does a lot to help this. He has waist articulation still due to softer plastic on the torso armour. He loses his ab crunch though due to the harder upper armour. The head is still fairly poseable as the hair sculpt has a great layered effect and pliable plastic. His arms are the weak part, due to going for screen accuracy with the armour plating. Elbows will still get 90 degrees and reasonable outward motion on the shoulders. They are fairly limited in upward motion. It's acceptable as the look more than makes up for it.

This figure is a fantastic display piece and the use of a flight stand would not go astray :)
I highly recommend this if you are an avengers collector it's a must. Otherwise I't isn't a first place draft pick, Though it is up there.

The custom looks great! Is that Bane's body?
i originally thought I could use bane's body so I bought one. after starting the work, realized that banes waist is too big as compared to thor's. thors blue and grey upper body piece wouldn't re attach in the rear. so thinking I was stuck and waisted money, I ended up doing some more tinkering and it finally hit me that all I had to do was take bane's arms off and put them onto thor's original body. not hard at all. all small screws and simple to figure out

Thor arrived yesterday, couple of small issues so a replacement coming out tomorrow and this one will be sent back, thought I'd take a group shot before packing it back up.

got mine yest from one sixth bruce and my handle fell off i am going to try and superglue it back, where did yours come from?

Mine is from OSB, my tesseract is not square and there are paint problems with the chest armour. Would have kept it if they were problems I could have fixed myself.

I feel sorry for this figure sometimes. Its probably the cheapest avengers figure out there right now. Im guessing its not selling well as the rest. Hulk will be great... just saying.
