I always assumed merchandisers got earlier access to production stills and art
You don't even need production stills for the headsculpt. It's easy enough to google image Chris Hemsworth face.

Tru dat. Although I'm guessing it's tricky to match a particular movie look just by sculpting a stock image face. (not a sculptor btw)
I just wish they would give the arm armor a full silver/chrome appearance once and for all.
This really shows how far off the HS is - forehead far too high, which leaves the rest of his features squeezed together, brows too sharp, the point of his jaw is too low and his chin is too rounded. For all that people try to defend it, this is a really bad likeness.
And now we can see that the colours on the tunic are off too...
I would love to have that as a 12". Too bad HT never did a Firefly set.
This is hardly a fair and accurate comparison, but it gives us an idea. The proportions aren't that inaccurate really.
I made it a touch shorter as Hemsworth is stepping forward in the photo.
Hope that in the end (of 2012) this figure will look like a DAMN THOR FROM THE MOVIE so I can buy it.

Sweet Stuff Can't wait to have this on display
My Thor will be looking at his package the whole time he's on the shelf.
He should be looking at the top of a Jane Foster figure's head.
Y'know because he's taller... and stuff
