That's the main reason I wish they at least made it a different design and not a War Machine reprint. You already aren't going by the comics why not just make it a nice redesigned suit?

Can't wait for this figure... but a part of me is really sad we aren't seeing the Lizard from Hot Toys. For some reason I thought he'd be a lock... and we'd be wondering about Gwen Stacey.

I'd really, really (really) love a Lizard and/or Gwen. Maybe someone will make and sell a Gwen headsculpt here. It'd be nice, because I'd like to pose this guy with someone. Ideally I'd like to pose him with the OTHER AVENGERS.

It's a shame that some of the best villains, and others haven't gotten figures.

Iron Man got Iron Monger
Iron Man 2 got Whiplash
Avengers got Loki (which is also the villain of thor)

In fact i think the only villain they've done outside of the ACU is New Goblin

There's almost a certainty that Mandarin will get a figure and almost a certainty that Silver Samurai won't

Can someone with some HK connections figure out when this is due according to HT japan? Cause everything i find says HT Japan has it as March. So why the hell would SS have it for June? Loki and SM were delayed according to HT till march. (which would be april for SS)

Is it just a mistake by SS?

I definitely want this figure. I prefer it to the Medicom (despite that figure's plus points, of which it does have several) and I just like my 14 or 15 HTs more than my 3 Medicoms.

I would prefer this version to the ASM-II v2 as first choice, as the v2 just looks too much like the Raimi version for my liking. I am a huge SM fan but I simply cannot afford all versions of everything so something has to give.

What positives does the Medicom one have? I haven't looked at it that closely, but I've seen a few pictures and think it looks like crap. And I was told it'll be more expensive than the Hot Toys one. Can you explain what you think is good about that figure? I don't mean for this post to come off as rude or sarcastic. I just don't know why anyone would think that figure has ANY good points when the Hot Toys version is out there, for less money.

Medi Spidey is 13800 Yen (a litttle over $140US). It's cheaper than HT Spidey. That's not a clearance sale price either. That's the price it was (& still is) when I ordered it September 2012. Although, I don't think that 13800 Yen translated into $140US back then. I don't remember getting it that cheap. I think it might have been closer to $160 or $170.

Knowing this (didn't really realise how much better the dollar was doing), I might go snoop around some online Japanese sites

Oh yeah. The Medi Spidey has it's flaws, but it's a really nice figure Web Head. But if you're looking at the pics & are not really a fan of what you're seeing, then maybe it's simply not for you

Edit: I've now ordered my HT Amazing Spidey & TTM22 slim body from Amiami. Both for a little under $200US before shipping. My HT Amazing Spidey order alone is around $190 at BBTS. Money saved (maybe) Yay me A bit of a gamble with fluctuating currency conversion rates I guess, but whatever

I too, want this version of SM. I'm not impressed with the pics I've seen of the costume in the upcoming sequel. I feel HT did a good job on this. I just hope I can squeeze him in there alongside everything else I have POed.

The proportion of the head size in relation to the body is more human than the HT. The body also seems to give the figure more flexibility for posing.

But the actual quality and fit of costume on the HT looks like it is better overall (it seems, small inaccuracies aside) and it does come with the Andrew Garfield sculpt. So to me that just edges it over the edge as my top choice.

I kinda agree, since they made tons of armours they could've change the IP a bit from the WM one.

No other figs coming up are worth skipping Spidey, (except DX13)
