Decided to get him a ball.

Just got this but always thought it was a little to new looking so I gave it some toning.

Was it just some black wash you put onto it? I may try and do the same thing

Airbrush black and then wipe off with a damp paper towel. Gets the black down in the texture but not on the top.

I agree with you that it looks too new straight out of the box and this is exactly what HT should have done in the first place

I was thinking the same thing. That looks how it should have came from Hot Toys. Love the stock figure but Robbie's is phenomenal.

Just got mine from sideshow today, cracked it open a few minutes ago and I got to say first impression is good, suit looks so much better in hand, nice packaging and all the joints are tight yet free flowing, feels well made with no shoulder issue so far, they moved very nicely actually

I was not flying high awaiting this piece, kinda not expecting to much, but I'm pleasently surprised at how nice it is. I still would have liked to see a taller body, but the boney proporsions fit this new spidey well. I'll post pics and do a video review as soon as I get some free time.

Looks great robbie. I will be picking mine up tomorrow and I have been planning to do the same thing with it. You just reassured me that it is the right choice.
