Cheers.:hi5:

I was surprised at how much I loved this film. It's the first Spider-Man film I've seen in the cinema and I really bought into the direction they want to take this new trilogy in with the characters.

And I agree; a Lizard figure would be great. I'd imagine it would look similar to my Thinkway Toy Story Rex.:D

After seeing the movie it's the eyes that bug me the most on this figure. They should be pretty much mirrors with a hint of yellow. In the movie whenever they looked yellow it's because his surroundings were yellow.

Hope they can fix that.

I hope that someone up top is saying "this figure isn't BD, why does he have a scrape on his face? Take that off, and do a proper BD figure later.". I can dream.

Marvel's approval/brand assurance dept. is not the easiest to work with. Depends on who you get on what day if they will approve it or not. And they are never in much of a hurry.

I personally think it's filled with disgruntled legal interns. :lecture

Just got back from the movie and loved every minute of it, its actually beat raimi's versions for me which i really enjoyed, the suit has grown on me too so think i will be pre-ordering this, if it doesn't come with the backpack i may have to find a sixthscale backpack to make do with if they are even about :/, i just hope they darken the suit that is all i want from them. Oh and change those eyes they where never that orange , a tint of orange yes but not orange peel orange

I saw the eyes as a darkish gold and highly relflective giving off different colour tints depending on the location.

yeah, they weren't that solid orange HT seem to have them as, as you say they had a tint of where ever his location was, didn't he use his sunglasses for the lenses of his mask? hence where the goldish tint may come from?

Yeah he use the sun glass lenses. Most of Spider-Man's scenes were at night or in low light conditions so i can understand how they went with a matte yellow as that's probably close to what they look like in a natural light.

Still want gold reflective though

Whilst there is every chance the true colour of the lense is reflective silver, I think this colour shown here is the most representative colour throughout the film.

Indeed.

I just have a feeling the true colour is this below (silver). Also some promotional posters went with silver lenses.

But like I say, the subtle gold colour is far more representative.

The suit is gorgeous. I loved it from the moment they teased it, I loved it even more when it was shown on screen.

The suit isnt bad, but I still prefer the more traditional look of raimis.

I like both the Raimi and Webb designs, but prefer Raimi's as it's truer to the classic Spidey. I definitely do prefer the mechanical shooters, though.
