It looks great even just standing like that! I can see that the sleeves are tucked in, maybe glued to the wrist pages? Any details as to what else he's done on the figure, or was it just the head and shoulders (oops)?

haha man's got bearing of chrome steel to do something like that on this figure with how fragile it seems to be

LOL he must have a few spares in hand, after all he's a celebrity in HK he can afford it (and HK prices are waaaay more affordable too!).

This thing is so underrated. .In hand it's awesome.. always catch myself staring at it

I keep wondering the same...if in hand is better. Pics not doing it justice thus far. Pics on MMS244 are terrible thus far. I just cant decide. Still clinging to my Spider-Man 3 Spidey

I ordered one with the new coupon so I'm pretty stoked to finally have this in my collection. Should be here Friday and I'll try to post some pics of him.

Think I'm going to try my first attempt at giving a figure a black wash. I've seen a couple Freaks' pics who did it and it just gives it a much more realistic look. He's just a little too new looking out of the box.

From what I understand you need to really water down some black acrylic and brush on and wipe off with a cloth. For those in the know, is that the proper way to do it? I've looked for video tutorials but didn't come up with anything. Thanks in advance.

Do it, man! Ironically, the black wash makes the figure pop out more on the shelf. The figure looks good as is and just with proper futzing, but black wash makes the figure (particularly the red part of the suit) look great.

Robbiethepainter did his using airbrush, I used watercolor brush on mine. Just use heavily watered down acrylic, and to be safe do multiple coats of light black so as not to get the figure too dark before you know it. And yes, whether you use airbrush of paintbrush, you have to dab a paper towel on the figure while it's still wet. It leaves the paint on the indented basketball-like texturing. Repeat the process to your liking. I did 3 coats on my Spidey :) Goodluck!
