The scenes with Hulk he was most of the time hunched over and almost moved like a gorilla. I think the height is fine. Besides, knowing HT he will be released small than the proto (Predators Berzeker anyone?) so Id rather they start larger than getting to small of a HULK....

At the ungodly price they will likely end up being he damn well better be the right size

Saw the movie last night (was incredible) and I think Hot Toys is sculpting the figure way too big. To my eye he should be at least a fourth smaller than what their sculpt is now. Also, I'm really concerned Hot Toys is going to botch the head sculpt. One thing that really impressed me with the film is that for the first time Hulk still kind of looked like the actor playing Banner; you still got a sense of Ruffalo in his face. Given Hot Toys half-assery with "monster" sculpts I suspect that will be completely lost on them.

Firstly, don't worry about the size; I'm sure it will shrink in production.

Secondly, I really hope we see Ruffalo in the face sculpt.

Yesterday my mom was over my house and she was looking at my displays of my 1/6 figures. She kept calling them toys. I had to keep correcting her, "they are collector's items"!

Then let me be the first to correct you.

They're expensive action figures.

and as action figures are toys,

They're expensive, collectible ( though with hot toys, that is kinda debatable) toys.



My preference, with correcting people who call them toys, just to be different is I tell them i have a doll collection.

Well yes & no, the definition of a toy is: 1. an object, often a small representation of something familiar, as an animal or person, for children or others to play with; plaything.

I don't consider these toys as much as I do "possible statues", because that's what I use them for. Although I may occasionally change the pose or swap out a head sculpt I NEVER play with them, and they are certainly NOT playthings.

People can gloss over what they want to call these TOYS. If it makes a person feel better by calling them "collectibles" "collector items" "action figures" whatever. They are TOYS. After watching the movie last night I really really really want Hulk more. Hands down Avenger Hulk smashes the other 2 Hulks from the other 2 movies.

Seemingly neither can be killed but Hulk's size and strength advantage would seem to go in his favour. He'd beat the crap out of Wolverine...nothing would come of it though because Wolverine wouldn't die....would he?
