Why is $300 considered 'ridiculously low'? MSRP on Jake Sully was under 300. Hulk might be massive but design-wise he's a piece of piss to manufacture and assemble. A flimsy pair of ripped jeans and that's as far as his costume goes. No weapons. No light-up base. No detailed paint app. Even with HTs rampant inflation of their prices I'd be pretty pissed if he turns out like I've just described with an MSRP too much above 300.

Prepare to reach Hulk levels of anger. This guy will easily be over $400. You're deluding yourself if you think otherwise. He won't even be up for preorder until the first payment is due for the other Avengers.

As each new figure is released the price increases; so depending how far down the line he is released $400 may be in line with standard prices.

Exactly, if people would shut the F(ck up over "Easily over $400" maybe HT would be more reserved with their pricing

Agreed.

If this figure does ends up being anywhere close to that, then it will be an automatic pass, and I would just hope for a Banner sculpt and display Bruce with the rest of my Avengers.

lol no one wants it to be $400 But some guys are not being realistic. The production/materials cost are not the only thing to consider. Its the creation of the mold itself, which I hear cost them thousands, that will be the major factor in the price.

Loki is using a standard body with a couple of accessories and thats $200. Hulk is all new from the ground up, even the hand pegs. I think it will be less than Iron Monger but more than Avatar. Monger has way more parts. Again I say 350

The jake sully figure is as tall yet very thin figure. Hulk has mass and width. That is a lot of material to produce. SO I am not saying the Hulk is more complicated or more detailed, it's just there is going to be a lot of material there to justify a 300 value. More sculpting, more painting and more material equals more money. Unless, HT does a vacuum formed hollowed, plastic pieces. That would crack and break at the slightest touch.

Which is why I have no plans of getting this figure. But hey, If in some miracle it comes out at 300.00 I sure as heck won't be complaining and be the first to congratulate you guys for getting the figure at a great price.

Yeah, I'm sorry but the $400 talk is crazy. This figure should not be anywhere near that much, even factoring in his size and the fact that he's a new mold.

Whether we think it may be over $400 or under $300, none of us knows a thing about pricing something like this. I also don't think HT is going to price their product based on what a few fans post on a forum. Unfortunately, I think most of us here think we have more of an influence and more power with HT or SSC than is reality. Sorry. Just my opinion.
