I don't like the pink word "Presents" written on his chest. Easy pass. :D

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

That little pic fills me with soo much joy after the debacle with Widow's hair. Can't wait to see more. I do hope the toso is split with a joint as well, to allow for better posing... but if not, it's ok.

wonder if each individual finger and toe will have a joint too...

He's coming at last!!!! I'll be sooooooooooo happy, I may wet myself! :clap

Hulk is smaller than Iron Man on that cover. Everything is out of scale with each other! Easy Pass. Pass on everything.

Selling all my Hot Toys and switching to old Hasbro 1990's 12" G.I.Joe figures.

Put joint in the hair and the teeth as well... wait a minute!!!

The 1,175th hair strand on on the right side of the sculpt starting from the bottom up and left to right is too dark, cancelled!!!

But seriously, from that pic, it does seem to be a body similar to the Bruce Lee body. And in regards to the sculpt, looks great and I'm not criticizing the accuracy to the movie. But, I just hope they include another sculpt or they change the mouth.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

Too bad he comes with those shoulders.. Bah. I don't mind articulation, but on a nude figure, it just looks toyish. I don't want my 300$ figure to look toyish. It's why the 1/6th clothing works so well. It hides the toyish-ness.

Bah, why not go the rubber body route? And put joints at the hips, for leg movement, hidden by underwear.. :(

Rubber prevents articulation. Rubber cracks. This a toy. A high end toy but still a toy.

well they are called Hot TOYS :wink1:

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

Its easy. If you don't want joints, get a statue. You won't have to worry about rubber deteriorating or seeing joints.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

Hope you Hulkites out there are ready to drop $500 on this big boy...

Oh please he is not worth $ 500 heck the iron monger is bigger more moving parts so this thing is about the same as the proto rubber arms and joints in the legs

The only people that want HT to go back to rubber figures are people that have never owned rubber figures. :lecture

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

Best way to do this figure would be like Enterbay Rambo or HT's current muscle bodies. If you don't like joints, there are plenty of statue Hulks being made from Avengers, but this is a figure line, you're unrealistic if you expect to get a durable, nice looking 1/6 figure of a nearly nude humanoid that doesn't have visible joints. HT will hide them as best as anyone can, it'll look better than the Diamond Hulk, but probably not too far from it.

I've owned DX02. No problem with it. Most collectors pose their figures vanilla in the end anyway.

All those show your shelves, all figures are just standing there most of the time.

Too me, a Rubber body with slight articulation would be perfect. The hunch can be achieved in the thigs, hidden by underwear. :)
