Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

Am I the only one who has a problem with the hair? Looks too neat, styled. I was hoping to save some $ and get this over Sideshow's, but I'm gonna pass on this one. I know Hot Toys will do anther version, they always do.

The waiting game sucks though.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

What do you think he'll cost? Seems like a lot more simple figure than all the Batman Figures.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

As cool as that looks I will have a problem paying 300+ for a figure that only has a couple POA... Looks as if the neck, shoulders, wrists, hips, knees and ankles move. Is it just me or does that start to feel more like a really well painted roto-cast figure instead of a fully articulated high end 1/6th scale figure?

And the hair does look silly....

Still, how ____ing sweet is this!!!!!!!!!

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

I like it. I don't care if he is too muscular or whatever. I'm not looking for Avengers accuracy, just want a 1/6 Hulk.

But...

I first need to know how will the arms end up working. They seem to be in between straight and bent, so it makes me think they are just a solid piece with swap out hands with no ball joint articulation for the wrists, just a cut joint. So if thy are just a solid piece, I will be leaning more towards not getting it and ultimately be depending on the final price. I was really hoping it to be like the Avatar body.

If it ends up being rubber arms, I will really think this one just because it will end up hindering articulation and eventually will develop stress marks or worse. I might get it and price will play an important factor.

Still hoping for joints on that figure and price will not matter if it ends up having elbow joints and ball joint wrists.

I agree Flosi. I was really wanting to like this figure as I love the HULK, but I'm not too impressed with what I've seen so far.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

I think he looks amazing. Proportions, sculpt, paint all look great to me.

But his limited articulation, that I'm sure will result from either rubber arms (that will probably end up cracking) or solid pre-posed arms (I prefer articulation over aesthetics), combined with what I'm sure will be an exorbitant price means I'll be passing.

Still, it's a damn great looking toy.
Nice job Hot Toys.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

Am I the only one who thinks the head is too small and looks out of proportion?

Yeah I agree the head looks a little small for movie accuracy, but still acceptable to me the way it currently is.

They might be giving us a Hulk with multiple switch out arms with no joints the way they give us multiple switch out hands.
So there could be arms straight for punching, arms slightly bent, and arms fully bent. Then we can mix and match them with open grabbing, relaxed, and fist hands.

If they do provide multiple arms and a second HS I'll be more inclined to want to get this. As for now, I'm not sold on it. I want them to sell me on it....

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

Yeah swap out arms and an alternate head would nail it for me as well, oh and no frickin rubber.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

Switch out arms... We will then be getting complains about breakages and what not.

Switch out arms=fail for me.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

Unlikely, but I kinda hope this is basically a high end rotocast figure since it might keep cost down.
