Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

^ For comparison

Looks very good imo, but not as good as it could've been.

Abs are too toned, not enough darkness to the chest hair, the hair is abit odd and the expression isn't the best and the clavical area look too strained with all the veins stretched and popping out

Articulation look ____, looks like it can't decide between wanting to be a figure or statue :dunno

After looking at that comparison I don't really like the way his mid section was sculpted. The rib area a bit too defined reminds me of Hasbro or something. He wasn't really defined in the movie at all, almost more apelike than a steroid raging monster which is one of the best touches on the movie in my opinion.

Better to have a slightly too small head (Although it still looks good to me) than have an Orange on a tooth pick like this

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

As cool as that looks I will have a problem paying 300+ for a figure that only has a couple POA... Looks as if the neck, shoulders, wrists, hips, knees and ankles move. Is it just me or does that start to feel more like a really well painted roto-cast figure instead of a fully articulated high end 1/6th scale figure?

Looks like a big expensive nicely painted version of this:

Multiple arms with different poses and hands seems to be something just to add more price instead of adding a simple elbow joint.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

Well, now it's official. I'm not getting any items from the HT Avengers line-up. Very disappointed with the final outcome.:(

:horror Not a single one, huh? Loki or the MK VII didn't make you even consider?

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

Although I really like the look of this one, I am wondering whether it may be worth waiting for a possible 2.0 version as HT will inevitably make some improvements.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

Did I miss something about no possible internal articulation? Or are the arms hard plastic?

Man its like the more the doubled there reveals in one year this company must be getting huge now

:lecture Yup, that's what I was getting at... HT is going to charge up the arse for this thing too. I want it, and I'll buy it but we're about to get raped tenderly.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

Highly disappointed with this one right now. It's a tough figure to pull it off though, even for Hot Toys... I'll give it that. It just looks too "toyish" to me.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS - The Avengers: HULK

I don't like The paint, HT should used a pale green color
