It's hard for me to purchase this knowing I picked up Origins version when it first came out for $135 or $145. Only if it came with a extra set of civvies. Is he worth the $235? Thinking of putting my SSC reward points towards this.

No doubt, the price is high for this figure, but I recommend it for any Wolverine fan. If your digging the pics posted in this thread, then when your holding this figure in your hand, you know you made the right decision.

...and I remember how outrageous I thought the Origins price was, since it didn't come with any extras--just a couple of hands.

I ended up opting out of the Origins version (for several reasons, including the price), but I bought this Wolvie without thinking twice.

Funny how things change!

Yeah i sculpted it then made a mold so i could sand down a cast to make i thinner and hinged and then added red clear plastic sheet for the lens

I was about to use my $180 worth of SSC reward points but didn't know items with free shipping is excluded.

Should I hold my breath for The Wolverine version or DOFP Version?

If it was a figure I would probably jump on it, but its a statue.

Something about this figure just doesnt seem right, im still hoping HT will release a new version from the wolverine.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when Origins Wolverine was released weren't people making custom X-Men suit or hoping Hot Toys will make one?

The only thing that bothers me is the price tag, an extra HS or clothing set would probably make it easier to buy. Maybe HT is saving the sculpts for other Wolverine releases.

I just saw the Marvel Select The Wolverine figure. Looks pretty good, if Hot Toys has a set up like that with 3 heads, optional bone claw hands and a samurai sword, oh and the black suit he wore that would be awesome. But I know the 3 heads it asking too much from Hot Toys.

That is true, all we can hope for is that HT gives us the spare bone claws and the sword.

Not sure about this head. It's a good Wolverine head, not so much a good likeness from the movie.

I'm really wanting to add a Wolverine figure, and with DOFP not coming out until next year, it looks like it may be another choke of years before another Wolverine figure so I'm on the hunt for a good deal for one of these guys right now. PM me if you're selling one.
