I'll be honest as much as I do love Singer's X-Men films (like I said a minute ago) I'm not interested in Hot Toys doing them all, whereas all The Avengers have their own unique look buying a whole team of X-Men all wearing more or less the same outfit doesn't really appeal to me, just getting Wolverine in that outfit is enough (especially as I didn't think Hot Toys would ever even touch the original trilogy)

I think that is the reason why Hot Toys would not bother to recreate the entire team because the costumes are so similar to one another. So being the business savvy company that they are the pick the most popular character and make him. If the are following their standard model Hot Toys might make more X men figures assuming that this guys. Or even a variation I am assuming that they might even make a Wolverine Origins 2.0 or just plain cloths Wolverine considering they copy cats are selling them all over ebay so the demand is still high. Improve the sculpt and release similar to Joker and Iron Man Mark 1.

On a side note I don't even know if he will be getting a costume in the new movie but we will have to see what the trailer offers.

In the Last Stand, Wolverine was the only mutant to stop the Phoniex but honestly anyone with the cure could have stopped her even Magneto but thats another subject . The Setinel had no real significance in the movie lol XMO figure should have had bone claws along with metal claws imho

Cool, really like the idea of bringing the casts from the first three plus XFC together for this. Hopefully they will do something interesting with the costumes and try and differentiate the characters a bit.

Well, Singer did say this recently:

"For those of you wondering... no leather suits."

I am REALLY hopeful that since "comic-y" costumes are now more accepted on film (like in Avengers and Spider-Man), this might mean suits a bit closer to the comics for this go-round. :)

Then again- Being "DOFP", it might mean all of them in grungy street clothes. But I really hope not...

Yeah, I was thinking the DOFP angle might mean gritty outfits but I'm with you on wanting them to return to comics roots and do a little mixing and matching with the costumes so they're not boring on the shelf. Also think they should not use characters like Juggernaut unless they're going to CGI the character in and do it justice. It would be like Avengers using a body builder in green paint for Hulk. Just doesn't work.

I think Storm would look great in the X-Men uniform. They could do pretty much any/all of the Brotherhood mutants for a variety of looks, as well as Xavier, Beast, and some of the X-Men in Street clothes. Would LOVE a Nightcrawler!

Do I sell my X-Men Origins Wolverine in favour of this and other releases (The Wolverine and DOFP)?

I am at a crossroads!!

Keep the Origins Wolvie (for now at least), since there's no official word about The Wolverine or DOFP yet. And Origins Wolvie is completely different from this one so it's not like it would look repetitive when displayed. Both looks are "iconic".

You can't take it for granted that HT will create figures for every license. Just look at X-Men FC. They revealed Xavier but still no pre-order. No Fass. And no other X-Men figures at all. And it took them years to come up with this second Wolverine even though the Origins one ended up being hugely popular and highly sought-after to the point where bootlegs have popped up.

Yes sell it and sell it to me at a rock bottom price :exactly:

Seriously though keep it, even with the new Wolverine figure and potentially another casual clothed looking one on the way the original still looks great :lecture

Keep it man you will regret selling it

For those who like men with sharp features.. :naughty
That's a great photo, I would be extremely happy to get a HT figure of that! :clap Never thought I'd see Logan in a suit!

I'm still conflicted about getting this new Last Stand Wolverine, I really wanted a more neutral facial expression, like he's showing in this photo. Now if they could make this and a Fassbender, I can try to recreate that bar scene in First Class! :lol

I like the new hair style for Wolvie 2.....in regards to LS Wolverine, I have zero conflicts. He'll be mine :yess:
Yeah I was thinking the same, his hair looks good! And I guess if I do get this Last Stand version, I can have more than one expression for Wolvie if/when they make another, which is a good thing. Every time I talk about it, I feel more like buying it. :p
