My ups pick up spot will only allow them between 2 and 6 pm. I did the same day pick up and they called me to pick it up between 8 and 8:30 pm tonight.

Thanks for the pics, JediJim! Congrats! What happened in the last couple of shots? Wolvie killed the impostor and then stripped him of the uniform? :rotfl

Haaaa!!! That's a good one. Shredded mystique and got her naked. I'm using the old Medi outfit for some other x-men customs.

The base is cool looking but the button is a bit weak. Its real rubbery to begin with and then they put the button on the back where you have to push the whole backside of the base in like an accordion just to get the button to catch.

The light effect is a bit cheesy too. Would have been a lot cooler if it flickered on and off like it was shorting out. I took the batteries back out and I'm just displaying him on it without the lights.

Something else that was weird. The extra pair of wrist pegs were mismatched. I got one larger and one smaller.

Got this bub in today...and was able to snap some pics.

I didn't have too much problem with putting on the hand claws, but when trying to bend them more toward his face, yes they would come loose.
Those previous pictures of the cracking leather scares me! I hope that doesn't happen to this figure...I wonder if treating it with leather lotion will help preserve it. Anyone have any ideas?

Other than that, the figure is great. I found it hard to pose him with his foot on the Sentinel head. Of course the leather is a little restrictive as one could expect.
The metal claws are a great plus!

My photog skills aren't the greatest, but you get the idea:

Can't wait to get him in the display case!

Nice photos Markecho!!! I've had my Wolverine for a few days now, and I must say that I'm glad I purchased it. I couldn't pass up having a HT Wolverine on my Marvel shelf and this is a wonderful representation of the character.

I think the head is fantastic and the uniform detail and fit amazing!

The packaging box is way too big and should of been the same size at Captain America FA rather than Spider-Man (I'm running out of storage space for these things).

It's hard to swallow the RRP price for what you get. They could of easily discarded the base, given us a second head sculpt, added a cigar and another set of clawed hands pulling the middle finger. Now that would of been ace, and would closer justify the $235. This piece could of been the definitive Wolverine... but it's not and leaves me somehow disappointed.

Hot Toys have finally priced me out of the game, with the Hulk being my last pre order. I just can't justify the price as a casual buy. I would like to get the new Robocop figure, but all these newer figures in and around the $300 price point is just insane.

Remember the HT Bank Robber Joker… he sold not so long ago (2008)… came with 2 head sculpts, nice costume, many, many accessories - his quality still holds up to the Hot Toys standard of today… had a RRP of $135. Now they were the good old days.

Thanks Nige, Kanine,

I know the $300 price point on figures is hard...dang the $200 price point was hard for me to do! I held off for a long time. I re-started 1:6 when 21st started so getting a BBi figure for $40 and then HT releasing their's at $100+ price point was crazy back then. I justified the Predators and Terminators because they were bigger or more intricate. I guess now a lot of the $ for HT has to go to licensing fee also.

But I also think some other poster mentioned his ankles are pretty weak. I don't like posing figures with stands and I am kinda bummed at paying this price and ankles are still weak.

I didn't even notice the X not lining up...
Wish I had some AAA batteries to take pictures with the Sentinel head lit up.

Was able to put him in my temporary case and snap more pics.

I could be wrong but the photos with cracked leather were of a custom using the Medicom costume. So it might not be an issue with this version. Hell, it wasn't an issue with my Medicom Wolvie either so it more than likely depends on how nice of an environment you store/display your figure than anything.
