I'm tempted to buy the target exclusive on top of the PO I already have for the Collectors edition but non of the others really

im looking forward to the man of steel limited collectors blue ray 3d edition. I want to use the stand and the logo for a nice background effect.

Pretty much the same reason I'm buying that one. I don't know is it a bad sign that I'm now buying things just to compliment my Hot Toys? Meh, I don't care it will look awesome

Definitely picking up the steelbook. I usually don't double dip, but want to checkout the digibook. It might compliment my MOS art book.

I've pre-ordered the Digibook from Target as well, though the Steelbook would be more fitting for this... Might double-dip for that as well but 2 is good enough.

I picked up my blu-ray yesterday 2 days before the official release. This movie is such a bloody triumph of a movie. I feel it has what mainstream blockbusters have been lacking of late. Heart and substance. Too many just break any sense of immersion by dumbing the movie down with lame jokes that just date the movie...ie. references to facebook, youtube and twitter just irritate me.

Scenes like the start on krypton and Martha Kent still bring tears to my eyes and this would be the sixth time I've seen this movie. Her adult son is basically this indestructible god-like being and she's still worried that he might leave her or be taken away after discovering where he comes from.

I love the sense this movie gives you that wonders can still exist in a cynical world where we think we already know so much about it.

Will watch it again later. It has surely reinvigorated my hype for the figures as well.
