Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

This is how I feel about the DX13, even the ASM ( Yes despite the shoulder issues which I didn't have) I still think ASM Spidey is an awesome piece to collect.

:yess:

How is this new body, and this looks like a new style body. Any looseness, any cautions with the body besides the material on the suit.

Why can't HT perfect the females. Hopefully with DX13, and MOS is a sign for good things to come for HT. Maybe HT will start with the Widow from Captain America TWS.

They started perfecting the females with the Avengers Black Widow. If you don't have her look at her thread.

What do you mean by "wired it from behind" Desisandy? Can the cape be posed at all?

No it doesnt have any wires at all. They also said the pleats are sewn in also so its pretty much just as awesome as a flowing hanging cape can be! A little disappointing bt man I cant wait til mine gets here 2mar or Tuesday

Snoop I hope you getting this great Fig :hi5: The bloggers pics were the capes really flowing. I do that with my caped figure too. Just get some wired tieback on the back of the cape shape it and the folds of the cape will hold it in place . Won't see it from the front . Sometimes I just hide it under the fold and you don't see it anywhere.:monkey3

The cape,s not too bad for posing, but for the really bunched up pics , I think they wired it from behind the fig. It flows well enough for museum pose :lol here's a pic with the T800 another fav fig of mines , spidey s at the back ground still ok I guess :lol yup he,s a Cavill supes

You're killing me Desis :lol

Don't you have any closeups and brighter lighting, I really want to see this figure shine more.

Oh well, I guess I have to see for myself, tomorrow.

How strong is the stand? I think I saw on FB somebody had the clampn of the stand just balance the figure by the knee cap. Is he heavy?

Will he topple over with the new stand

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

FU** the new stand, it looks terrible.

the fig is heavy , just as solid as the T800. The base has good weight to it too , should handle the flying pose,s the base is quite large .infact it takes up too much space :lol

If you had to rank the figs in the pic, how would you rank them?
Thanks!

In my pic ? I ,d rank the T800 and the MOS level both have their good points. Cavill head sculpts really strong likeness . T800,s bit weaker but great DX package and battle damage makes very worthy getting good points. Then rank the QS Batman , prob the suit shoulders and cowl head shape not scoring well :lol would rank The Hulk next. Think Hulk should not be wearing hulk slippers :lol then Spidey last . But really is all down to personal taste :monkey3. Ps guyver the MOS cuffs and body strips are black I double checked when back for lunch .:rotfl. Oops I forgot the Karmen rider didn't thought that counted not HT,s .

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

heres the original post i made here earlier today ,yes the ankle pegs on mos supes are the long type and jor els are rhe regular shorter type and the are interchangeable ,but the damage to the suit was caused in part by the tight sewing of the suit and the clear rings that are attached to the suit and ankles ,to keep the suit taught and stop the legs of the suit riding up ,and my lack of care switching them out ,the knee came out when i was taking a boot off and i think thats what busted the stitching ,please be careful if you opt to do the mod ,

Chris, do you have long pegs on your Reeve figure? Or just the standard short ones?

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

I wonder why they never made the gauntlets out of the same material as the stripes/piping?

In the movie, it appears they are of the same material/thickness. I wonder if it would be an easy thing to make?

Does anyone know if the gauntlets just slide off on this figure? Like Thors as an example.

The come off. They are for sale on Ebay as loose items.

I might go and have a ganders on eBay then

It would be interesting to see if the sleeves go right down to the wrist or end just before the gauntlets start

if it's the former, then a new slimmer gauntlet could be fashioned over the sleeve

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

just found the image i was hoping to find

looks like it can be done

for those who know this stuff, any ideas on what sort of material may have been used for the piping?

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Got mine on layaway with OSB. Does anybody know when they'll get them in?
