I really hope hot toys fix the bulky body.
I just preordered the figure but I'm having a little buyers remorse. I told myself no more 1/4 figures but the sideshow man of steel PF looks ridiculously good!!!

I hope when hot toys release this figure that its close to the pf.

I may get this just cause it's an awesome looking Superman (Modern) to put next to my CR Supes. Not because the movie was good though, the movie was forgettable. But so was Superman 3 and 4.

I'm surprised by the price. Was expecting something in the $220-$260 range. Might have to pick this up. I'll wait to see if they make any changes to the body first.

Yea, I was expecting around $230 like the new wolverine.
Glad hot toys threw everyone a bone by not being greedy since its a superman figure.

I'm seeing the movie again tomorrow.
Freaking love the movie!!!

I've got to say I'm shocked by the price. Granted, it's not the $170 we're used to from the olden days, but $200 for Superman from a license like this? Not too shabby, HT.

I think the upper body is fine, maybe tone it down a tad bit but those thighs are insane. They just need to really focus on fixing those thighs which I'm sure they will in the next year or so until this figure releases.

I just pray they don't mess up the sculpt.

What exactly is Plastic Enemies? Is it a company? HT distributor store? How/why do they get access to the prototype figures to take their own photos when HT already does their own official photography?

No one knows? I can't find any information about them on their fb page.

On topic, just pre-ordered from Sideshow. Using up all of my available points, it just knocked off the shipping and a few bucks to come in just under $200 shipped. Not bad. Although if the 89 Batmobile had shipped already, I'd be saving a whole lot more.

Thanks broski I don't care what anyone says in that thread, the PF is gorgeous. I'm not big on 1/4 scale stuff. I like them but usually prefer not to own but there are a few exceptions and this is one of them. Another would be an EP3 Obiwan just hope Coco can fashion me another shelf so this thing can be displayed properly when the time comes

What I find funny is that those of use whole like this figure as is are pointed out as "settling" when in fact we don't really see anything wrong with it, at least I don't. For me, I was scared for the worst with the sculpt, but Ht surprised me, then the base was another surprise along with both a 1/6 and 1:1 command key so this is above what I had initially expected
