Lost my job on Tuesday, but still buying this guy!
Got a decent severance
thanks! it is hard to justify me buying this when we had the "we need to watch expenses until I get rehired" talkSorry to hear that.. The good thing about this hobby is that the figures increase in value over time instead of depreciating like vehicles. So if worse comes to worse you can usually make your money back plus some if you had to sell you collection. This is what I tell my wife when she sees how much I'm spending on action figures LOL
Hopefully it wont come to that though. Best of luck with your job search.
Looks fantastic. Now I really can't wait for it to be shipped!!
Thanks.
I also made a sniper rifle version.
I was thinking Batman would have just this kind of thing(Just like he tends to in the comics), just in case.
Do you guys think it would be safe to paint the dynamic stand to blend into my background image?
yeah shouldn't be a problem. I'm repainting the belt and fixing up the gauntlets and already modded the collar with no issues.
Plus a long while back somebody repainted the Keaton Batman stand with no problems.
I'm not going to paint the stand itself but the flexible rod that holds the waist grabber...
You actually moulded this? Or made out of custom parts?

Even if you weren't a complete fan of the film, it is a collectors piece to own. Not bad at all being your first HT, you won't be disappointed.
[QUOTE=Bran The Man;6448231]Hello everyone! I'm new here and I've only recently started collecting Hot Toys. I preordered Man of Steel Supes last year, so he''ll be my first 1/6th scale figure. From the pictures I've seen on here, he seems to look awesome in person.
WIP Clark Kent spaceship scene.
