Give or take. I told Matt to make it 175mm wide. And he just sent me that proof image.
He is going to redo the underside piece. It was just a test. But the topside is the final article.
Now he's going to get to work on the Zod one.

Damn those look sick. Will they be painted? Or stay that silver chrome?

It's not chrome. The chainmail has been laser etched into clear plexiglass. I am getting both pieces done separately, but they will be joined for casting, cast in an off white resin, and painted any colour that the customers want. It will also have the option of a rectangular hole for a crotch grabber stand, or a 10mm hole for a waist grabber pole. Included in any cost will be the pole if required(In aluminium tubing), but no waist grabber part.
I am expecting most will want either red/yellow for Kal, or black with copper/brass/gold dry brushing for Jor. And maybe black/silver drybrushing for Zod.
But i could paint them pink if someone asked, lol.

Lookin good B :clap

Thank you sir.

That's cool lets see what the finish products looks like.

I am sure it will look great. And every one of the "limited to 25 copies" versions will likely sell like hot cakes.
Just kidding, lol.

Oh, and on the subject of the "Hobo Of Steel" top, 12 hours in the heavy duty bleach seems to have wiped away all traces of the blue "russian sailor" patterns from the Barney Ross shirt.
I removed it from the bleach, rinsed it for about ten minutes to get as much bleach as possible out, then gently hand washed it in mild detergent for the same amount of time, rinsing and repeating a couple of times.
The end result looks good even before the color remover(Which i ordered from the USA, so won't be here for a week anyway). I then used a scalpel to slice the threads holding on the inside part and removed it.
I will take more pics tomorrow when it's all dried out.

.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

My Clark on the t00b. The pose is kind of crappy now that I look at it.. but you get the idea, lol.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Nice vid Ryno.
Ski did an amazing job.
How does that modern life sculpt scale with the stock hot toys head? Is it the same size or is it undersized.

I'll take a pic of the Modern Life sculpt side by side with the MOS. I'd put it on the MOS body but I don't wanna mess up the pose, lol.

Cool, thx.
I've been wanting to get that modern life, but its just on a couple of pics I've seen, it may seem a little small.
It looks great though on your video and seems almost the same size as the stock HT head.

lol, I understand about the pose, I'm An@L myself about posing and usually spends hours trying to find
a good pose.
But maybe when you install Tony's cape, I most certainly would appreciate it if you can provide a pic with the
HT body. :)

Great vid. I have a HT head off in China right now getting repainted with the beard(Well, it will be done after the spring festival, lol). I also have my three ML sculpts on their way back to me. I am hoping for good results.
I seem to have gotten really lucky with the shirt. I have zero pink spots. But i did leave it in the bleach for 12 hours...
I'll try the ivory paint tomorrow at work. Well, today...
