Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

I don't want to mess with my cape, i just want to fake a wired cape look if possible.

Ive seen people do it but I have no clue how. This was actually the first cape ive ever wired, so im not sure.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Loving all the new mods showing up..You guys got skills :clap Sorry for the crappy lighting

Anyway here is my contribution. It was a pain because it took a while for me to be satisfied with it..Maybe I overdid it :slap

No Guyver1, that looks jaw dropping-ly fantastic! I love all that shine overall look, his suit looked looked a lot like that throughout the movie.

Excellent work, I wouldn't do anything further. :clap

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

It's such a shame, I'm glad I didn't pre order from Forbiddenplanet.com, nothing is ever right with their dates.

For months it stated on their website that the confirmed shipping date was on 16 feb.
And now it changed to 30 April.

I just don't get it why it's like this every time. The price is £159 which is great but what's the point in waiting so long, I thought I could rely on them hopefully this time - NOT.

I don't understand why everything is so slow and always delayed here in the UK, that's why I always stick to ebay.

I'll receive Celtic Pred next week (via ebay) and yet from Forbidden planet .com site, the shipping date is again changed to 18 May.

All their shipping dates are to be taken with a grain of salt, they change it 2-3 times in a year. :thwak

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

I would of at least saved custom charges as my funds are limited to what I spend, but now I'm considering of just buying it international and just deal with it.

I'm just going ahead and ordering Tony's cape first thing as that's a 100% must for me. The figure, I'll have to wait and decide (just incase someone has it for sale here in UK for a good price) or it'll have to be international via ebay.

Man MOS Supes is going to pull level with the DX12 soon in the mods department.

I will not have him for a while yet but I'm still loving him stock but I am enjoying seeing all the modding going into this guy.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Hey hey! We have a winner.
I installed a large bore magnet on the body and the stand.
No waist clip now!
I also wired the cape.

This pose is perfect Barry! Love this shot!!! :hi5:

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

^ Fantastic mod Barry! How did you attach the magnet to the body; is it inside the suit, glued or just wedged in there?

Me too.
There are no two modded ones exactly the same, but it's a lot of fun to see them all.

Thanks a lot. It was just to show the extreme hold the wire gives it.

It's a countersunk magnet, screwed into the small of the TTM20's back, UNDER the suit.

Well I have not seen the movie so I can't complain about accuracy but I can't see myself modding him but that could change after I see the movie. I probably will do the wire through the cape mod.

Also nice work Bar. :clap

Thanks.
You need to get that movie watched!!!
Also, when you see how easy the mods are to do, you might be tempted.

The mods are quite simple. And that's coming from somebody who had never modded a single figure before this. Just patience and a couple of basic tools and this guy will look like he stepped off the screen. Also, Tony Meis' cape takes it to another level.

I actually have it sitting on a shelf next to my TV but I need to make time for it soon.
