And don't paint the suit. But a Zod suit and place the collar on it.
The Zod suit is the same suit, just black, minus the collar. All you'll need to paint are the boots.

What do you guys think of the chances of a 1/4 version?

If I remember correctly, Hot Toys stated that they are completely done with 1/4 scale.

I'm thinking you should. He really is a great figure out of the box. With a couple of simple mods, he is amazing, one of HT best IMO.

Where'd you hear that? Howard had an interview a few weeks ago (That WASN'T the April Fools one), where he said a new 1/4 Scale figure was coming soon.

I picked up this superman yesterday... needed someone for Zod to whoop the **** out of. Actually really liking him, though the colar mod is necessary I probably will just leave him stock, just incase I want to sell it down the road.

You guys are being a bit harsh, the guys has probably put a lot of effort into this.

I think it looks good and better than other attempts I've seen done on a Man of Steel fig.
