Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the boots off? I want to mod the legs to make suit tighter but I don?t want to rip any material when pulling off the boots?

You should be able to just pull them off with ease. The MoS boots are separate from the suit unlike the BvS suit which is lightly glued to the boots.

Thanks, Buffinator. I've been contemplating placing my figure in that floating/hover pose but was hesitant to do so, in case there was a risk.

I had mine in the hovering pose for about 2 months when this first came out. There was visible signs of indentations on the sides where the clamps where applied. The suit eventually went back to neutral after I changed to standing pose (and I know this doesn't sound good--but also applying light massage...lol). I would tread carefully if choosing a hovering pose for prolonged periods of time...

Thanks, ebor. That was my initial concern, as well.

I currently have him on a custom base/stand and was considering posing him in a floating just above the ground type of pose. Now I'm not so sure...

After reading ebor's comments I took another look at my figure. There's the slightest of indentations where the front end of the clamp contacts his suit, otherwise it looks fine. The clamp is lined with foam so I think that helps minimize the issue, plus I have it situated right below the chest section. The suit has a bit of a transition step at that point anyway (between the chest and lower torso) so I wouldn't have even noticed anything if I hadn't flipped him over and really looked for it under a bright light. Given the length of time I've had him hanging like that, I don't think you need to be too concerned.

Thanks for checking again, Buff. I'm going to try it out and check on it often. At the slightest mark, I'll replace with the regular stand.

Cool Kryptonian display.

Thanks, SS! :duff

Thanks for the responses - got the boots off. Turns out I was just being a little wimp and was to scared to yank them off. Collar mod next. Wish me luck!!!

Collar mod is the first (and only thus far) somewhat major mod I've done but it's SO worth it. It's pretty easy. Patience, young Padawan.

Hey fellas,

I?m not sure if this related to the thread, but what?s the closest body that resembles the MMS200 man of steel ?

Im doing it for the Clark presuperman phase.

Thanks

If you can’t get the MOS Body itself, the only other body that’s the same is the HT Darth Vader body. All the parts are the same except the Vader body has a sound board inside the ab section. And of course the entire body is moulded in black plastic. But all the parts are the same.

If you want a body that will fit Cavill’s physique l, I think the new large WorldBox AT027 body would fit him pretty well. I was thinking about getting one to redo my Clark figure that I sold a couple months ago

But that works with no clothes. I?m referring to Clark Kent body with clothes on. The AT body maybe too big, no ?

Thanks, any idea where to find 2nd hand MOS Body ? No stock on eBay.

The MoS body is a large body too :dunno: it?s actually a little taller than the BvS body. I?ve owned 3 in the past and customized a spare MoS body for my custom Clark Kent from the Fortress scene where he wears the white henley shirt and jeans(which I assume is the scene you?re going for). I had to dremel away a bunch of the waist and lower abs to fit a pair of regular jeans. So either body you choose, it?s going to be a little big for normal 1/6 clothes.

No doubt the MoS is big, but I've also the AT027 (which I'm hoping to make a kitbashed TDKR Bane once the FireToys is released lol) and it's huge!

Next to a TTM20 Terminator body and a Star Lord body
