Dude this is awesome. I could do this for all my IM stuff & future flyers. Always thought about putting up posters and stuff for my empty walls. But this is an amazing idea.

Cool, I thought it would be a good solution to displaying the Falcon figure because of it's 2-foot wingspan. My lack of space doesn't support mounting the boards horizontally but I thought that would make for a good side-by-side display of IM armors...mount the flexible rods along the top long side of the magnetic board and have the figures flying side-by-side. Lots of possibilities.

I'd recommend a quality bit for drilling metal when working the Spontan magnetic boards and some proper measuring so the IM figures are centered on the horizontal boards. In the example I show above I drilled a hole in the very center and now think I should have done some proper planning and measuring first. It was only a $13 mistake.

Agreed but even in a Detolf my stuff gets dusty. My display room is a clean zone...no dog allowed and I run a small air purifier, which helps.

so what's the deal with this figure on ebay? if you haven't looked lately, there are a ton of them from a bunch of dif sellers... and they are selling for really cheap.

i said F it and pulled the trigger on one that was $99.99! figure worst case scenario i file a claim and get me $ back if its a scam, but was well worth the risk as i'm not out anything! but i've seen a bunch selling for $140-160...
