This armor is not that bad, the hardest armors to paint is Hot Rod and XLII, the heartbreaker model kit was easy for me!!! love it. End of the road for me for IM figs until MK.III
OMG they added the LED on the rib cage WOW they made it. This just went over the top, now I have faith in shotgun armor and thumper wooo

The armor in the movie has lights emanating from the shoulder, the back and the side of the chest close to the arm pit, besides the arc reactor and eyes light, looking at OMG the lights on the chest next to the arc reactor are there

Dude I'm using taptalk, LOL I didn't see the highlights of the end of collecting IM until I saw on my PC.

You are probably right, I just opened up an amazon credit card to buy the hall of armor x7 and start buying the rest of the armors that come out, then save 30,000 to buy all iron men ht in existence

Not ribcage per se, but doing the kit made me realize how much light he had, then watching the movie and playing it frame by frame indeed heartbreaker armor has tons of lights, I am just happy ht added this detail to the armor rather than the occasional arc and eye, repulsor combo

I just assumed whatever light source is underneath lighting up the chest, Is also being lit through the side vents.

All these new pics look really cool. I struggled a little with this armor cause I don't really think it looks like an Iron Man armor Tony Stark would build, but rather more like some type of mech suit for some scifi story. Still very cool though. If the Hot Toys prices hadn't gotten so high I probably would have still preordered it. I currently own 6 armors (MkII orig, MKIII BD, War Machine MKI, MKVII, MKVIIBD, MKXXXIII). The only one I regret not getting was MKIV, but I don't care for the full Tony Stark headscuplts. Would never display it with it. I like the open mask sculpts. And I collect way too much other stuff to go crazy with Iron Man. (I have all 4 Hot Toys Thor figures and many Sideshow Star Wars figures). Would love to see some comparison photos with other Iron Man armors. I like to see those the best to see how they display and look together. May still buy it yet... Who knows... LOL. Damn addiciting hobbies!!!

Well, he did make it to be an anti-Thor suit. I really only like his HPP the most. Shotgun, Heartbreaker, Bones, and Starboost.

Gonna make my Silver Centurion as his main armor. Maybe the upcoming armor in AoU if it's awesome.

Really? I don't remember reading that anywhere... Uh Oh, now I might be in trouble... Anyway I know I'm in trouble when the hulkbuster armor is revealed. That's a must buy for me and that's gonna hurt!! $$$$$ Plus I passed on the 1st Hulk since it came with nothing. Hoping the next version (Avengers 2) at least has 2 head sculpts (relaxed and angry) then I'll buy. My wallets gonna be hurting when Avengers 2 comes out. Plus I still need a cap and I like the photos of his new costume and I'm a Vision fan and I can only guess how bad a$$ Ultron is gonna look.... At Least I hopefully won't have to buy another Thor since all the photos seem to show it's the same costume as The Dark World ..... But I'm sure HT will sucker me in somehow....

Yeah. I'm definitely getting AoU Cap & Ultron. Love the new suit, darker, tactical, and still staying true to the red white and blue. And Ultron will definitely be awesome.

Hulkbuster maybe not because it'll be way out of my price point. I'm still waiting for a rage face Hulk. I just can't see him in any other mood.

Love everything about this figure except for that ugly silver band that wraps around the back of his head. Reminds me of this

making it look older or something... Might just buy him and try to customize the headsculpt

I think it's supposed to act as a brace for the head, seeing as how it's an artillery suit.
