I wonder if it was low PO numbers that made them change the figure?

What else could it be?
It is obvious that PREDATOR isn't their flagmanship license, even if it has fanbase.

This makes the City Hunter even more of a shame.

Though the paint on mine is by me, the ones he does fully painted are done to match the Hot Toys paint job which is basically all the same shade of brown. I actually think as-is the figure looks great but I really enjoy customizing and painting.

I did think it was his but I didn't recall seeing that paint job on his. You did a great job on the mask, it really makes the figure look tons better. Nice photos too!

Oh I don't care about how he looks without the mask… and I also don't think it's as horrifically wrong as most of you guys do. I don't even think the original HT mask is all that far off either.

They've already updated him with a new sculpt different from the original proto pics. And it has been met with approval by pretty much everyone I think.

the Grayback was revisited due to a post to HT.
they changed lots of details, minor and major, fixing almost everything mentioned there except for facehugger fingers on the shoulder bag. check the photos:

So it seems like he is shaping up to be HT best Predator and the price isn't all that bad, still over priced but not as much as I thought it would be.

So they tried the reuse the Classic head again.
