yes sir i did - its a little stiff the strap - but also the hole in the cape it goes through is showing a little bit of fraying - i may have to tap it with some glue or Clipper it with a lighter...

I didn't really even mess with mine, that's probably why his cape is bunched up a tad on his left shoulder. Maybe I should futz with the bandolier myself.

That's unfortunate. Did it already come like that then, or did futzing with the bandolier cause that? I futzed with the bandolier on mine a good number of times to get it just the way I wanted it and the hole that it goes through on my cape is pretty smooth and flat.

Nail clippers usually work well also for clipping off any loose or excess threads.

You should. It's a very simple adjustment that makes the figure look even better than what it already does, as it looks more accurate to the way it did in the film and not like it's choking him around one side of his neck and squeezing the underside of his arm pit.

Yeah I've noticed a lot of pictures here the cape drapes nicely over the shoulders. I can get mine to look that way, I just haven't taken it out of the cabinet since I displayed it. I'm going to adjust the strap since it is riding up his shoulder a bit.

Jumped on that Custom Kryptonite spear so fast!!!! Got it for $38.50..... good price? Plan on getting BOTH Regular (on its way) and Chrome versions (don't want to pay the NRD)..

having some fun with this guy :p

I suspect the Kryptonite spear will come with a battle damaged armor. The success of the BvS line plus the Eastern market's love for mechs and armored suits really supports that assumption. With how well this was received, I don't see why HT wouldn't pursue that idea.

I ordered a spear already to go with mine, but if HT made an official battle-damaged bats with spear I will regrettably, yet unregrettably, buy that also! :p

I'm interested in that sculpt, but I've yet to see a convincing picture of it. It always seems low on detail and very washed out. Anyone have any proper lighting photos of it? I also don't remember him ever wearing formal clothes that blue in the movie. Always slateish blue-grey or black, no?

Arrived today. Prettttty pleased with it. Him and Supes look very cool together on the shelf. Regular bats arrives some time this week too!

I noticed when reposing my Superman that the padding on the inside of the head had rubbed off a bit onto the neck and left a black glue-y type muck. Was easy to get off, but watch out for that, guys, if you have Superman too. I think maybe the instructions said something about not pushing his chin too far down, but Superman is often up floating somewhere so it's tempting to pose him surveying the ground.

I've since swapped the stand attachments, as many have recommended. My Superman was starting to get some dents on his suit from the clip, but was that easily futzed. He's standing now with Armoured Batman's crotch hook. I had to bend the flying stand arm in all sorts of weird contortions to get the clip around Batman's waist, but it works! Anyway, some quick pics I took outside before setting them up on the shelf:

Looks great!

Yeah, I noticed that padding behind the chin on the inside of the Supes sculpt. I think they put it there to prevent the sculpt from rubbing against the neck and potentially scratching it, but I can also see it potentially leaving a black mark on his neck also, as did with yours. Then again, if you never take the sculpt off, it probably won't be a big deal anyway. Regardless, I don't have the chin of mine pushed right against the neck.

I did the same thing with swapping the stand of Armored Bats and Supes. Supes has Armored Bats's crotch hook while Armored Bats has Supes's c-clamp. Where did you put the c-clamp around Armored Bats at? Around his actual fabric suit just above the belt or around the armor? I put mine around the suit just above his belt; the fabric seems pretty firm and doesn't have any piping on it the way Supes's suit does, so I'm thinking it should be okay.

I go back and forth on this figure. Sometimes it looks great and I'm tempted to pick it up and other times it looks sort of dull to me. I've already got the regular version coming so I'm not sure if I want two anyways.

Wait, which one is the dull looking one to you? The regular or the BC one? This is the thread for the regular one. :lol

The regular looks dull to me. It seems like it looks good under certain lighting but sometimes it just looks kind of plain and a bit dull. I know that's partly just because of the color of the suit but I dunno. It's just not the most appealing to look at. I wouldn't consider the black chrome version since it's not accurate.

I'd just stick with the regular one then in that case if you're going for accuracy, if you're adamant that you want an Armored Batman figure that is.

I'm not really. I've gone back and forth on it. I'll probably just pass though. As a Batman fan I wouldn't mind having it but overall since I don't love the figure completely I don't feel compelled to buy it.
