Looks like AoU is 1 nanometer shorter. All of you is wrong.

I didn't say it's definitive that they're the same height being that I don't have both figures in hand, so I personally don't know. I said the specs list them as being the same height being that each one says "Approximately 31 cm tall". So just going by that, they are the same height as far as the given specs are concerned.
Will the S.T.R.I.K.E. suit even fit this Cap?
This is an entirely new body so there's no way to know at this point. But the body was never the problem with the strike suit.
Strike suit cap suffered due to both the body and the tailoring. Would be near impossible to fit the stealth suit into this new cap's body without drastic mods i think.
I am hoping it does, I would love if it looked like the S.T.R.I.K.E. suit cap proto.
Umm yes it was, that was the major complaint about it, which is why Hot Toys beefed up the padding on the AOU suit in the muscle areas of the suit. However, since they know that didn't give the figure the natural look they made a whole new body for this version, so it should be perfect now like the S.T.R.I.K.E. suit Cap proto version was.
No, it wasn't. Go re read the thread. The complaint was articulation. Like 5 to 1.
Almost everyone removed the fat suit to improve articulation.
What are the chances it will actually be able to be posed like in the pictures? My AoU Cap definietly couldn't make those poses.

I fiddled with mine last night and was able to get a decent museum pose.

Shoulders look much better.
I snipped the undershirt straight down the middle in the front and back. I think that was the problem with this release. Undershirt was tailored too tightly and made the shoulders shrug.
No. Straight down the middle cutting the shirt in half but I only went about half way down from the top to the bottom of his chest. Released the pressure enough to relax the shoulders.
I also removed the fat suit.
Thanks for the tips. I may still pad out the shoulders to make them a bit more pronounced.
I'd like to see a pic of that with the arms at his sides in the suit.
I was part of the thread and was the first person I believe to do certain mods to the figure, so I don't care about how many times people have complained about the articulation in that thread. When the figure first came out everyone complained about the body and that was the major compliant about it, which is why so many people modded theirs and others put it on different bodies like the Reeve body and MOS one. There were a great number of people who didn't care too much about articulation because they just wanted their figure to look good, even if the articulation was restricted.
Yes they did do that, but most people passed on the figure because of how puny it looked compared to the proto. BTW the fat suit didn't need to be removed to improve articulation, the reason why there was lack of articulation was due to the restriction of the rubber suit. Once they cut two V shape holes in the center of the suit front and back, the figure was no longer restricted by the rubber suit and the arms could hang flush against the body.
