Yeah, it's pretty crazy, right? They just look so similar that I couldn't justify having him. Plus, it gave me money for two other figures I wanted.

Understandable, pretty much the same reason why I'm keeping my AoU one and not getting this one - at least you got the cash for more figures - sometimes it just has to be done.

Damn... If Ms. Spangles can't justify having both AOU and CW Caps, how did I talk myself into it? Ha

Yeah, if you have one of the three (Aou, promo, or reg CW) I would probably just stick with it unless your one of those loony completists or a big Cap collector that gets everything cap. They are very similar figures. I'd say the reg CW version is the best value of the bunch and gives you the most options.

I just wanted to have two trios to represent each team. I have AOU Cap with my Avengers and will put CW Cap with Bucky and Falcon (and maybe Wanda if I can't help myself)... I like the changes to the new outfit even though it isn't drastically different.

I have most of the Caps, but skipped out on AOU. So I'm glad I'm picking up the reg CW. I will see how the Infinity War suit looks and decide on that one. Most likely pick it up anyway, but I honestly would like a mix of CW and AOU. The CW is almost perfect, but would like a few more tweaks, like the white on the arms, and maybe different gloves/boots. I like that it's toned down from AOU though, just wish they would have left some things.

Between the similar looking suits (AoU, regular CW Cap and BV CW Cap), the one that I'm skipping is BV CW Cap. I wouldn't be able to justify having both regular and BV CW Caps when they're essentially the same figure, and this is coming from someone who has all of the Cap figures thus far.

It doesn't help that I'm getting both CW Caps. I get rid of AoU because he looks so similar, but then I order both the CW Caps which are almost identical, minus some dirtyness and accessories.

I display movie specific and cant have a CW display without a Cap. My AoU Cap is with the AoU Avengers and my Avengers Cap is with the Avengers. If I was a one character, best of representation collector I'd probably stick with AoU Cap.

He only wears one costume in the film. He never gets a chainmail/scalemail/feathered costume. People are saying this because they saw some T-shirts that added scales to pre-existing concept art for ****s and giggles.

No, because as mentioned, he doesn't wear it in the film. Those were just rumors based on some CW apparel that had digitally added on scales to the suit that he actually does wear in the film.

the creative way with which he took out spidey! When they went one-on-one I was sure Cap was toast but alas, his tactical experience and superior combat skills shone through & saved the day once again.

Genuinely thank Chris Evans and the Russo brothers, whom I think are the three best people that's ever happened to Cap!
