This is going to be my first Cap figure, I hope it turns out well, and that there aren't any outfit issues like there was for the STRIKE suit.

I believe the SS Cap utilized a new style of body if I'm not mistaken, so it makes sense there would be some issues since it's essentially the first attempt with that body type. AoU Cap worked out many of the kinks that the SS figure suffered from (articulation and the flat chest being the main two), so I would imagine that CW Cap would be a further improvement from AoU Cap.

I'm thinking about pre-ordering this Cap with the May code, and selling my AOU one. Despite the subtle differences, I like CW Cap's outfit a lot more than AOU Cap's. The swap-out mouth pieces are a bonus I suppose, but I doubt I'll ever display Cap with the clenched teeth. :lol

At the very least, it should be just as good as AoU Cap and that was a very well-received figure.

Not to mention this figure is of a Cap from a better movie. :lol

:lol That is definitely something that I considered too.

Aaaaand...ordered! :yess: I've also decided to hold onto my AOU Cap until (at the very least) I receive my CW Cap and I get the chance to personally compare them side-by-side. The more I think about it, the more I'm betting that I'll violate my "one figure per non-IM character" rule and keep AOU Cap. I really like both designs.

Congrats, Zack! :duff

I know that lots of folks are quite pleased with their AoU Caps but I'm somewhat surprised this has yet to go to WL. Perhaps it will soon enough.

Thanks, YF! :hi5: I'm very pleased with AOU Cap too, which is why I don't want to sell him. I kept telling myself I wouldn't order CW Cap, only to finally break down after seeing the movie. Plus like I said before, I like the CW outfit more than the AOU one. Ah well. Two Caps it is. :lol

I'm surprised too, given how quickly AOU Cap went to WL last year. I remember ordering mine right before the movie came out in theaters, and coincidentally right before he went to WL.

Congrats, Zack. :hi5:

Thanks, Sabrina. :)

I can't wait to see both Caps side-by-side. :D

Congrats, zack! :clap

Coming from another both AoU Cap and soon to be CW Cap owner. :lol

AoU Cap didn't sellout till after it was released, so I'm not sure why CW Cap would waitlist prior to release. Especially seeing as there is a promo version as well.

I'm still kicking myself for missing the AOU cap. I'm not going to miss the CW version. I'm on the wait list for the BV cap, think I may let that go and just order the regular version. I have some rewards points s that I would like to use to off set some of the cost and I can't use those on a wait list.

I'm in the same boat. I want the BV more but if I have to, I'll settle on the reg version.

I actually preordered the regular Cap with the code. I love my AoU Cap and have almost everyone from HT. He's my favorite hero so I don't mind having more than 1 version. But given how much I love Civil War, I'm strongly considering getting all the figures
