It'll be available sooner in Hong Kong than her local retailer... So it'll be up on eBay well before they get it.

She is planning on canceling with that retailer - which will result in forfeiting her deposit - and then ordering directly from HK instead.

...How will your forfeiture of your deposit, only to purchase later on ebay make this figure get here faster? #nonsequiter

:goodpost::exactly: That's exactly right. My retailer will get it around the same time as SS, so instead of waiting those extra 6-ish weeks to get it from my retailer, I'm considering getting it direct from HK through ebay when Bucky, and Steve, are finally released.

Normally I don't mind HT taking their time and getting these figures right..for the money you spend on these things, you want them to look good and not have any quality issues when you get it.

But this is getting ridiculous. Bucky and Steve were supposed to be here already, one delay, fine. But now it's not due to SSC until November? I just don't get it. Was Steve delayed too or just Bucky?

I'm planning on just grabbing this headsculpt parted out now. This version is barebones compared to the TWS one, and the main thing that drew me to this one anyway was the clean Bucky sculpt.

I like all the weaponry TWS version comes with.

I originally planned to go the same route but then I'd have to decide between full WS mode with mask, WS mode with smokey eyes and Buck and that would just be too much. XD Couldn't do that. I barely could with just two headsculpts, no way I can with 3.

I hope they finally release Bucky so I can switch out the headsculpt on my WS and have him with the mask already like I've always wanted too. *_*

The masked look is very neat, but I don't feel I need two figures to be able to display it because I don't really have anywhere I would display it. I didn't get TWS Cap or Falcon and I don't have any villain display - Loki is the only villain character I have from the MCU.

I would totally be down for Bucky Cap if that were to actually happen, though, and I would've loved a Howling Commandos Bucky (I would've bought TFA Cap if that had happened).

This one is kinda like TDW Loki to me (only with a superior headsculpt, thankfully, as I was hoping for that) - too similar to what came before it but just stripped down.

ninja.png now why would anyone need a villain shelf for WS ... ?

Anyway~~ I totally understand everyone who's satisfied with 1 Buck/WS, these things are expensive after all and space is another issue. However, I love guy and therefore I need both. I want that deadly assassin on my shelf that dropped from that highway bridge like a ton of bricks and smashed the roof of that car in before straightening up and going after the prey with the finest murder strut to date. But I also want that guy who hides in Romania and tries at living and coping and buys plums and keeps notebooks with memories in a backpack hidden under the floorboards. ^^ So yeah, I need both, really.

Of course I'd buy Howling Commandos Bucky in a heartbeat but somehow Hot Toys has missed the opportunity. :slap Just like they have missed to do pre-war Bucky and pre-serum Stevie ... :( or civvie Bucky ...

If there had been a choice between a civvies CW Bucky and suited up CW Bucky, I would have absolutely gone for the civvies version. It would have made for a little variety on the shelf, not to mention his outfit looked great. Josette is right - this CW version is very much alike the TDW Loki, stripped down and almost too much like the original figures. However, I own TDW Loki and Avengers Loki and have CW Buck on pre-order so I can put him next to my TWS Bucky. I just can't help myself when it comes to my favorite characters :gah::lol

:lol :exactly: Yep I can't help myself either - done exactly the same!!! I'd really like a Civvy version too, I am going to have a go at doing one myself using the spare head that came with the Winter Soldier version. :)

I feel ya .... I really do. I'd have bought any Bucky and considering how much more possibilities HT would have had with civvies Bucky, it's a real shame that they didn't do him. :dunno They could have given him a bag with plums, his backpack, a cap, a cinder block ... a motorcycle :lol and he'd have looked great next to civvies Stevie. :( But since they were going for the airport outfits, there's no helping it. Although, they could have at least given him an angry faceplate so we could display Steve, Buck and Tony together and recreate the fight in Siberia. It looks kinda off now ... Stevie with the angry face and Buck totally stoic ... :/

The CW is considerably much better than the TWS. I agree it is barebones but I rather have a really good figure than really good accessories.
Can always buy the parted out accessories from TWS on eBay.

Agreed that TWS Bucky is good, but CW Bucky is like Sebastian Stan in a can. :wink1:

I'm really glad HT didn’t go as movie accurate with CW Bucky as Iron Studios coz the face on that one looks a lot less defined, more chubby from the side.

:lol Well he was chubby! Not chubby, actually. Beefy. Beefy Bucky :love
Well, however you call it, I'd have preferred less of it. ^^ As I've said before, it almost looks like he got overwhelmed by all the culinary delights this century has to offer and kinda let himself go a bit while in hiding. Now, there's no need to be turning to food out of loneliness anymore and I hope T'Challa will prepare a nice fitness programm to get him back into shape once they get him out of cryo. ^^ Go for legs only.

:lol He probably did, I can't imagine Hydra fed him very well while he was their weapon, which is why he was so smol in TWS. Seb did say though that he went overboard with the bulking up, so he probably will be somewhere in between for IW :rotfl

Yeah I know, right? ^^'' I wonder if they even gave him solid food to eat or just put him on a liquid diet ... :/
I mean, there are limits to how much weight he can gain ... after all, the metal arm doesn't adjust. XD

Anyway, if Seb's indeed going after Mackie's workout plan, things will be fine. I mean, he does have a good physic, he doesn't need to go all-out. Get that nice V-shape back ...

I'd think it was liquid, personally. They just put a drip or something in when he was in cryo or just out or something - Hydra wouldn't want to waste time feeding him solids, especially as its implied after a certain time his memories start to come back on their own after he's out of cryo for a while.

Yesss omg can we get work out vids of Seb and Mackie? Those two.... :lol
