I personally wouldn't, but some people might? Funko released a pop post-movie of him with a missing/battle damaged metal arm, so maybe Hot Toys decided to jump on that bandwagon too? I honestly can't think of any other reason Bucky's taking so long to be released, unless they're starting Seb's headsculpt from scratch

I definitely wouldn't. :/ I mean it's a nice addition, I guess but would look pretty odd without a battle damaged face sculpt, imo. I mean, that figure looks so clean and nice, doesn't really fit the blown off arm.

I wouldn't for a lot of reasons, one of them being that all, while a CW powerful moment, the filmmakers have paced that relatively fast - hard to explain but overall IMO doesn't capture the main "essence" of a character or the conflict re a shelf display for me - as opposed to having Cap/Bucky posed like the HT photos would, or having IM/Cap/Bucky battling would, or having a civvie Bucky and Cap would, or IM/Cap going head to head would.

IMO losing the arm happens fast enough that in the end it's IMO more of a focal point that neither Cap nor Bucky quit on each other, battered as they are - anyway IMO while it's *shocking* that Bucky's arm gets blown off, the thing for me is that he went mano a mano w. IM.

There's more interesting things about Bucky that HT could have included vs a mangled arm. Like switch-out clothes. The motorcycle. The notebook.
Can't complain tho, Cap and Bucky look amazing. Whenever Bucky gets released.

Well, if you are releasing a pretty stripped, maskless figure IMO it'd better have a great portrait/costume/paint. And maybe the newly chromed arm is a more dicey paint job e.g. you can get away w. more w. a matte paint, but folks will want that arm to be amazing.

Good point about the notebook. I'm surprised they actually didn't include that as an accessory with this figure. A vehicle (motorcycle) and a full different set of clothes seem like unlikely things they'd include as accessories with a figure though.

Can live without Bucky extras as IMO the portrait looks great + rifle + jacket, but why-oh-why no BP portrait when we see a lot of BP face through the film??? *Sigh*. It would have been nice to have Cap/Bucky/BP but not paying that much for BP w. no portrait. Oh, well, Falcon seems to be taking as long as Bucky, too.

Yeah, I'd like to think that they're doing or adding something to Bucky to give reason to the wait. If he's just delayed because they're focusing on someone else, that kind of sucks

I'd only display him like that if I was doing a battle scene but I wouldn't so......no I'd probably never display him with one arm lol.

Though if I did a battle scene, I'd without a doubt do the scene where he and Cap are fighting Iron Man and trading the shield. During that scene, he still had his arm.

Hopefully he gets released soon.

Of course we want figures to be released asap, but I like to think that if a delay or wait means they are tweaking something on the figure to make it look even better than what the prototype showed, I'd rather them do that and get it "right" so to speak, rather than rush it out and it not be as good as it potentially could have been. I'm all for waiting a little longer if that's the case. On the DCEU side, people are getting antsy for BvS Wonder Woman also and hoping that the delay means that they are tweaking and improving the sculpt.

I have both (WS and WW) on PO and are the ones right now that are long overdue for me.

Most likely the case. I personally wouldn't bank on anything being tweaked to look improved, but one can always hope though.

*&^%*&^% Didn't think of that re the Stormtroopers e.g. cashing in on upcoming Rogue One hype. Grabbed a few CW Funkos at Target one week when the disk came out, by the next week most CW stuff was gone at Target and Best Buy and it was a flood of SW stuff - everywhere, from old and new films it looked like. I'm only getting a few key SW figs - and want my CW/Avengers stuff more than the SW stuff, if I had to choose.
