Thanks for your insight! This is exactly the reason I asked for more pictures from the events in HK and SG. The announcement pictures can promise the moon but the prototypes displayed at events offers the first clues of what they look like in real life. I have heard comments that the jacket is too thick, particularly in the front. The cleavage is not as visible as the CW version, etc. I thought if we can get more pictures, we can get a better idea...

"Project Insight requires insight, so I designed an algorithm that can identify potential bad Hot Toys releases..."

No problems. Just my own opinions.

I'll be popping into MK again tomorrow to pick up my 1/6 chappie retailer version as that finally came out today. I could pop over to Moko to take some pics, but Im sure theres plenty enough out there already for viewing, plus theres also videos too.

I found the NA clothing to be quite a dull red and the supposed shiny leather sections shown in the official pics just look worn/creased and tacky mixed with the other materials in the suit. Yes the collars at the front are thick as well. The mix materials for the suit just doesnt gel well, hopefully that would be improved for the final release. Although the CW ver suit has mix materials too, they are simpler in design hence less areas to notice where they join together etc. overall a less busy suit and much pleasing to the eye.

One thing I noticed no one has mentioned is the hairstyle. Personally the CW look looks nicer/clean and complements the overall appearance too.

As for the cleavage for the CW ver, well if you look downwards from above, of course you get a lot of cleavage. lol Hopefully they do get that corset tighten up, as for me, that looks to be the weakest part overall. Cleavage is fine as long its done tastefully.

Plus one last thing, i'm pretty sure they used a different upper body for the CW version, she does have bigger ****s compared with the NA version. Perhaps they gave her smaller chest on the NA to compensate the extra thickness of the clothing???

Yeah, some more pictures would be nice. A big thank you.

That's why I keep saying that announcement pictures can promise the moon but the actual figure are almost always less...

I still like this NA version better...LOL

THANK YOU! I just read both of your posts and I do appreciate the insight. Just so you understand, I was just really interested in your reasoning since you actually were able to SEE both (well all) figures at the event. I'm terrible when it comes to buying collectibles as I seem to buy everything so I'm not really biased one way or another (except IM, people think there are too many, I think there's no such thing). Wondering if this will be rushed since I clearly could see a difference between the prototype pics and the pics/vids from the event. Like I said, I'll definitely be buying both but if the NA version doesn't turn out as that well then CW SW will definitely be the one to own In my opinion.

Again, I really appreciate you taking the time to get that information out!

Ok, I'll do what I can tomorrow. Taking pics for the CW ver is easier as that's one area where you can freely walk into. As for the NA ver, they purposely put that right next to the queue line, so you have to queue up and walk past it to take shots of the figure. If the line isnt long, then I'll queue up just for that then. haha

Even prototypes arent the final thing either to make that purchase call, but at least its a better indication than official photos without any photoshop touch ups. Sad thing in hk is that you have no choice but to put down a part payment to preorder these figures. Once payment is down, theres no way of backing out if the product came out turd looking. Which does happens sometimes.

Im glad you still like this NA ver. Across the board Scarlet Witch has been a good sculpt from day one, three positive figures so far.

Thanks for taking the time to read too. I try and stay neutral with all the figures I get or see. Like you, I collect all sorts of stuff too so I wont stick to one particular product or brand. Haha what you said about Iron Man, many think there's too many, many think there's not enough. Luckily I dont have one at all in my collection. However I did buy the diecast special edition Mk3 at an event and was going to keep it, but ended up passing it onto a collector that wanted it more than I did. I think more choices is good for everyone, no one is forcing you to collect them all. Just buy what you like. Skip what you dont like.

I think everyone will be happy with either headsculpt for SW, it just boils down to which suit thats all. haha I'll see if I can take photos tomorrow to explain what I mentioned before in my last few posts to make my explanation much easier to understand. Im sure some fool will say I shouldnt be using my iphone6splus to take shots at very light events and such lol

Oh yeah right cause iPhones are infamous for having terrible cameras, lol.

If you don't bring a huge Nikon or Canon with a bag full of giant lenses then we'll just chalk it up to bad tech.............. NOT

You say that but...

I know they do add the "Item shown is a prototype. When shipped, the final production piece may differ in appearance." to every PO, but it's rare that the final version deviates from the piece shown the PO page. I hope I'm wrong, and someone picks up on it internally, but I do fear that it will get released with that pose and no tesseract.

Wouldn't be the first to go out with an awkward pose, and or missed opportunity accessory. :(

Ever hear of Stoney Stands on FB? Just search for Seth Stoneberger as her makes amazing acrylic items for both 1/6 & 1/4. I chatted with him a couple weeks ago about making some 1/4 & 1/6 tesseracts and he's going to be making them. Lol, I'm actually the person that's breaking out the caliper for the correct measurements.

And if the Loki PF hand isn't exactly 1/4 size tesseract, he does lots of custom stuff (as do plenty of others) so I'm 99% sure one will be made.

Ah Nice!
- I haven't ordered my statue yet, but will definitely be placing my order in the not to distant future. Just wanted to keep an eye out incase they amended the listing, or some new convention stuff turned up showing the tesseract.

I'd be up for a team-up if necessary and have him make two. Do you think he could add a light up feature as that would be awesome, especially at night as the soft glow from it would light up the statue spectacularly (in my head lol).

Aw man, so excited I preordered this! That looks great! I even like the box, haha.
