I don't consider a collectibles company that makes you destroy collectibles, "top notch". No, "top notch" would mean you send the product back to them so they can part out the good stuff instead of just charging more for figures and shipping. ($17 for this figure is insane.)

OR

If they don't want to deal w/it . set up a contract with Toy Anxiety or someone similar to purchase the stock.


Anything other than destroying a perfectly good figure outside of a minor issue. The fact that they can even afford to let that happen is sickening.

When I said I felt their customer service was top notch I was referring to the fact that at least for me they'll respond to an email within the day, they've always been quick to send me accessories or new boxes etc, and they've even applied coupon codes for me on existing orders. They've taken care of me so I can't complain. Yeah I felt a bit guilty destroying a figure but what can I do it's their policy. Would it make more sense for them to provide return shipping and ship you out a replacement instead, yeah probably. I understand what your saying but it is what it is. I like the way you cut and paste my quote by the way.

Same here. Never PO from eBay either. Don't like the idea of sending full payment to someone several months in advance before a figure releases.

I think PayPal gives 180 days now to file a claim...how does the seller justify asking for more money after the transaction has already been completed...?

There's no way to justify that. He's just saw how popular this figure is and the prices it's reaching on eBay.

I'm not a legal person by any means. But surely you entered into some type of contract when you agreed to pay that much and that contract should be honoured?

Got mine on Tuesday and stained the jacket and scarf yesterday. Sorry about the sideways pictures. The upload feature alway turns them 90 degrees for some reason.

It's quite a bit darker actually. Doesn't show up great with my cell phone pics. I might do a black wash over everything to make it all just a touch darker though.

I received my figure last weekend.

After I unboxed the figure - I went straight into customizing it.

I weather the coat, suit, pants, cowl, gloves, boots, gauntlets, and goggles. I made it look darker and also sand weathered using the right tone pigment powder. I'm pretty damn happy with the results and my hands are dirty.... enjoy. Oh... I also created the desert base to complete the theme.
