To be fair though a lot of the exclusives last year were fairly underwhelming. The main standouts in my opinion were Luke in Stormtrooper disguise which sold out and the Mark XXIV armor. I bet that Batman and The Joker both sell out eventually given the popularity of the characters. They'll probably be around for order for a while but I bet they'll be the first to sell out.

Same here. I'm really hoping they show one more figure from BvS at SDCC, but I'm also worried that the movie's reception may have scared them out of doing any more.
Then again, Knightmare Batman is happening after we all thought he was cancelled, so who knows? :lol

I'm still going with a BD Armored Batman as happening in the future, given the lack of a spear accessory. If they had no plans to do a BD Armored Bats, I think a spear would have been an accessory included with one of the current figures. That would be the only other figure I think they'd do from BvS.

I wouldn't mine Bruce and Clark in their suits but I see BD Batman before that.

I told myself I didn't need this one... he was in the movie for what seemed like 3 seconds, and I already pre-ordered the other two B-mans... But as others have mentioned, this design is just too damn good to pass up. Wouldn't be hard to find it a new home if I changed my mind, so better safe than sold out.

Regardless of what's under those pants, there's no cape for those looking at doubling for a regular Batman.

Well after a lot of going back and forth with myself I decided to pull the trigger on this one. The look is just too cool to pass up and who knows if we'll see another version of Batman that is this off the wall. I've got the standard version, black chrome armored version, and now this so I will have plenty of Bats in my collection!

Used RP and got him down to about 200 so not too bad.

Still trying to decide on the AA Joker... I'd like to see what else HT has in store for him first.

I agree with you and hope and pray a battle damaged Armored Bats happens. I definitely would pick that up in heart beat!

Ya it would probably only appeal to die hard Batman Superman fans if the movie did better I could see them being made.

Precisely. As mentioned, even civvie versions of well liked characters in the MCU didn't sell very well. With the exception of the civvie Tony Stark figures I believe, but many of those came with a myriad of accessories.

However, the recent release of the UE and the favorable, positive reviews that it has garnered from both regular viewers and critics could potentially rekindle people's interest in the film and boost its popularity a bit, so you never know.

I think it likely will in the future. While I'm sure it'll undoubtedly be a cool figure, I'd personally have no interest in it though; I'm happy with the regular Armored Bats as my representation of Armored Bats. I'd only have an interest in the Kryptonite spear.

Remember a time where the Knightmare outfit would have come in the DX package with the normal figure? Still cool as can be and looking forward to having him.

As much as I'm all for including as many accessories and options as possible, sometimes, I do think just making a completely separate figure for a certain look tends to look a bit better and be a bit more accurate. For instance, sometimes interchangeable BD parts on a figure doesn't look as smooth and detailed as an entirely separate BD figure in itself.

Agreed. As nice as it is to get extra parts a lot of times that stuff just stays in the box or if I like the figure enough I end up buying a second one anyways to display both looks. I kind of prefer just getting a separate figure that's more complete personally.

very true. and many times, ppl would/will buy two of the same figure to make two separate figures out of the extra parts anyway to keep form having to switch out the parts. with how detailed HT have become now, I can't imagine having to take apart a figure nowadays to change to another figure.
