Okay need some help here Bat fans. I currently have the regular, armored, and knightmare on PO. I have ran into a small financial hiccup and might have to cancel one. I am for sure getting the regular bats and then either or of the other two. I love how both of them look and I know armored bats is more recognized and plays a much bigger role in the film but the knightmare bats just looks absolutely amazing, even if its not really significant. Im leaning towards keeping knightmare cause i feel armored will still be around at normal prices for quite sometime while the knightmare will be possibly more difficult to find down the road. At least this is how im possibly justifying it haha.

Personally I'd ditch regular bats. I don't think it looks very good. I've got Knightmare on PO and hope I can find the space and cash for armored but with all the new Star Wars PO's I'm not sure it'll happen.

Agreed. It's going to be just like Bale bats. They're going to do much much better improved versions down the road of that basic look for future movies like justice league and the standalone Batfleck film. Goodness, wasn't Batfleck amazing by the way? An extreme bright spot in an otherwise so so movie.

As you essentially said, it depends on how you look at it. Of the three, despite how cool it looks, the one I could live without in my collection is Knightmare Bats because it doesn't play as big of a role in the film as the other two. If you want to get all three and just have to cancel one for now and then possibly reacquire it in the future, I feel Armored Bats would probably be the easiest to do that with, as you mentioned.

Hmmm I never considered cancelling the regular bats. Always thought it would be weird to have two variants and not the original. This is also my first Hot Toys purchases so im not too familiar with how often they release figures. I assume even if a better regular bats is made which is likely it wouldnt actually see release for 2-3 years depending on different movies release dates.

Also I really like the sculpt on the regular bats, my only real issue with him is every picture I have seen it in he is stiff as a board. Im hoping that maybe by time it releases there have been some articulation changes as well as a little more bulked up to match the movie more closely.

I was never all that impressed with the regular batman .. Knightmare and Armored look way cooler and unique .. I also have a feeling that you will be able to pick up the regular batman later for less price then the other two.

It's hard to say. The other two suits are more "unique" being that they're variants, but Batman figures in general tend to sell well and I'd imagine if a casual collector just wanted one Batman from BvS, they'd go with him in his regular suit. Also, if HT ends up releasing a BD Armored Batman, I'd imagine that would be more sought after than the regular Armored Batman.

lol you are not lying. I want to PO more stuff but with Rogue One right around the corner I have to conserve my money. Also, I think Episode VII Luke is around the corner hopefully we get a look at him during SDCC next week.

i thought it would have been on waitlist by now, cool! will give everybody who wanted it a chance at getting it.

I think it did get wait listed like twice. Made me jump on it after seemingly missing out on NA witch but once I got my order confirmation, it was exactly that, and not a waitlist submission.

There is no point in getting the Standard Batman figure unless you get Superman and Wonder Woman along with it. Knightmare Batman is different and unique and is why you should get this version of Batman. I also feel like the Armored Batman should have came with more like a spear, battle damaged armor, etc.

I wouldn't say that about the regular Batman, I feel that it is the most comic book accurate suit we've gotten on the big screen to date and since Hot Toys seems to have done their job on getting the body down who wouldn't want to own it? That's just my opinion, I know I also want to collect all my favorite on-screen representations of Batman as well (I used to have the Batman Begins figure but I've sold him) and since I have three on pre-order I'll have a total of five Batman Hot Toys.

Including the three BvS Batmans, I'll end up having six HT Batman figures.

I passed on Arkham City Batman and the Batman Returns Batman of late. I felt like, even as a kid, that the Returns suit was a down grade from the Batman 1989 suit, but something inside me is sort of pushing me towards ordering that two pack with Bruce Wayne. I also passed on Adam West Batman since I was never into the TV show and even still its way before my time.

I only say this because there will be a solo batman film in the future

I'll end up having the three BvS Batmans, the BR Keaton Batman, the DX12 and the Adam West Batman.

I have 11 1/6 batmans.

14 after BVS. Not getting the chrome version. Don't do variants that never existed in the source.
