She isnt thick i tell you, look

All those swimsuit pics must have been on the same trip because she is definitly a bit heavier in them, but again my point being she is normally very skinny, and i dont really consider her thick even in those swimsuit pics, she just got a bit of stomach pudge

I am just comparing to a model like Gal. Her thighs are thicker and pelvic area wider...notice how she avoids full frontal shots...her best shots are from the side or 3/4 view.
I love Margot the way she is...I am just saying the figure is correct to her actual proportions. She isn't model thin, but she is so lovely. That's how I like my Harley to be.

Finally got the boots off, it took way more force then i expected, i ended up holding her leg down by the ankle right above the boot. I was being overly cautious the first few times due to all the pictures of ripped leggings, but as another poster said they are way tougher then they appear to be or atleast those images led me to believe. Getting the boots back on was easier then taking them off.

I wish she had better elbow joints, difficult achieving the bat holding pose i want with the single joint bend. Also i wish the wrist cuffs fit better, i left mine off because it was very TIGHT fit and i didnt want to break them. I may try heating them up another day, but its fine without them.. last but not least, i hope the pudding choker doesnt cause paint rub on the neck, that slid on pretty tight as well. Oh another gun would have been nice, i stole one from tuxedo joker lol

Other then the complaints above, she is nearly perfect. I hated the visible knee joints but as long as you dont bend them they dont look too bad. They nailed the headsculpt and did a good job overall on this figure.

The second Harley finally came in after being delayed for longer than usual at Stanstead last Thursday.

Attempting the boots for the second time was a terrifying feeling. I had to heat them with a hairdryer for quite a while before they would start to budge.

Which confirms to me that not all Harleys are created equal. Tolerances on the figures from the later batch (or batches) I received do not convey the same advice that wiggling alone would suffice. Maybe that would work in hot climates, when the boots and pegs are already softer upon arrival? But not here in rainy ol' Blighty.

All visible parts of the 'stockings' are perfect this time. There's a tiny hole on the left leg which is concealed by the upper part of the boot. And since these boots are never coming off again, that's a non-issue.

And some forbidden fruit. I had to segregate her because Harley doesn't always play well with others.

That is quite an impressive collection. Your Harley is in good company!

Thanks!

Yes, she has a few friends. There's many more too. :lol

And, as you might guess, I prefer crowd scenes to a clinical display. :wink1: I've got empty display units and shelving, but I like having figures together.

What’s the best way to get the plastic off her feet? I don’t want to rip anything.

Glad you got the replacement! Still odd that different batches have tighter joints for the boots.

And Jimmy, best advice is to just take your time, lol. Make sure the stockings aren't riding up or down her legs when you do. That was the initial worry here, but now apparently there's all kinds of chaos.

I finally got her. The headsculpt is spot on imo. Unfortunately I got cracked spike bracelet and the speed loader holster is not glued.

Ah well. Both can be glued back together easy.

Hold on to her lower leg from knee down, not stranding the knee, gently pull of the boots, wiggle

You have to use a lot of force tho, it's still risky, both going in and out, now that there is a chance you will rip the fishnets

So I noticed that my Harley's fishnets were torn along the seam on one of the legs. Have people been able to get replacements from Sideshow (SS is where I bought mine).

I suppose I could stitch it back together myself, but should I have to on a brand new figure that was damaged straight out of the box?

They have but the last I heard they ran out of replacements, hopefully this isn't true, so give them a try.

No you shouldn't, if you can't get a replacement you should be able to get a refund at least so you can buy another one, although torn fishnets is a common QC problem with this piece.

Just wanted to add some photos of my HT Harley that finally showed up this week... I have to say her portrait is brilliant, especially considering the expression, which could so easily have gone disastrously wrong - but I think they nailed it. I love her, and am really happy with the way she turned out (and no ripped stockings!). Anyway, here are the pics - enjoy!

some photographs are from really, really, really bad angles, I blame the photographers, normally the neck is ok, the joint line isn't even visible, but in some photos, it's all you can see
