Yeah I'm pretty sure it was 3000 worldwide, with 500 to HK. Don't know numbers beyond that.

I'd really like if the Batman movie featured some sort of flashbacks with a dark blue and gray suit. That'd be awesome!

They look like toys to me, not so hot anymore.

I would never be able to buy something that costs so much and do that... Obviously the people that did enjoyed it and can do what they want... but even still.

Well, if that's what the customizer (or the customizer's client) wanted for his figures, then it's money well-spent for him. It's no different than adding blood or battle-damage on another $230 figure -- its just that maybe not everyone would like it

Of course, that's why I added the last part, as of course whomever did it wants it/enjoys doing it. Absolutely no problem with that

It's a good review for the differences. I can't believe how much better it looks with just a couple of tweaks... I wonder if the post the head goes on has been lengthened so the cowl doesn't cover the symbol. That would also bring the collar/cape up and give the illusion of broadening the shoulders. Of course the Cape sitting better with wire helps a lot too. And the lighter grey looks so much better. This should have been the real release. (I personally don't have either)

Your bvs batman can also do the muscle mod by adding putty or cushion pad on the chest and shoulder area.
Not only looks better, but also keeps the cowl away from covering the bat symbol too much.

Ah I see it. I think you're right. The main thing I see it from is his head. The regular version the head looks way too big compared to the body. The SS one looks much more in line with how the head should look on that body.

They didn't lengthen the head post
They created a bend on the tab that sits flusher and higher on the chest.as so it doesn't cover the symbol

Thank you very much for posting that video. It just saved me from making a big regret.
I PO this figure cause of the cape, so I was gonna sell my stock Batman for this.
I still have yet to see a video or pic of this figure with the cape futzed well, so I was leaning on just selling this one and keeping my stock BvS.
I was thinking of getting a custom cape, so it defeats the purposed of keeping this figure.

I'm very suprised to see that Hot Toys actually fixed things that was a nitpick on the regular BvS.
My main nitpick was the suit was too dark, and just like that guy pointed out, when its on display, at least on my display under the LED lights, there's not a lot
of contrast between the suit and the emblem.
Definitely see a nice contrast now. Also, I love how the cuts on the emblem are more pronounced.
Really cool to see the difference between the two figures in 4k.

I'm definitely gonna keep this one now and probably just sell my stock.
The ironic part is that I probably will still end up getting a custom cape. Gonna wait and see first if I'm able to futz this wired cape to my liking.

The cape is pretty easy to futz, Iv been back and forth changing it up a lot.
It's a great figure, the biggest improvement is the paint.
