1/6 Hot Toys - MMS420 - GOTG Vol.2 - Star-Lord Collectible Figure

Went ahead and set mine to fullpay so it ships tomorrow or Tuesday and I get it this week. No reason to wait till the 25th for my final payment. Fingers crossed on the neck!

With the hickies Star-Lord has been getting, Im not surprised people want this guy in early

Just opened up the Deluxe Star-Lord.

Looks like a well detailed, fun figure.

He has the red marks on one side of his neck, but it's in a position that will never be seen under the jacket so not a problem. I folded up one of the pieces of plastic that was on his ankle joint and tucked it invisibly between the neck and jacket collar to prevent further staining.

What a splendid idea. It's a shame it's happening in the first place but at least solutions are being suggested

I just got my Starlord today

First shot, pretty much as shot and right out of the box, I just put the blasters on the holsters
Also I have been asked already and theres no red staining on the neck atm.. And a portrait close up too

Yessss 100% Best birthday gift ever He's fantastic overall. Lots of accessories and options for displaying him. Regardless of what outfit you choose he has lots of shelf presence, great box, likeness, articulation. I couldn't ask for a better Star Munch

Great looking shot brainiac. Looks almost real.

Also good idea with the bit of plastic to stop further staining Kuat. I'll be doing that too !

The rocket harness looked a bit risky to put on.

I had to pry the straps apart with the handle of a pair of tweezers, so when putting it on him it seems like it would take quite a bit of force to plug them back together.

And then possibly the problem of removing it without being able to get a tool in to pry them apart.

Rocket's harness was a lot easier, even though it was even more delicate.

We just opened it up and couldn't unzip the jacket, it stops a bit under his chest... looks like they forced it on or something.
I did pull the jacket down and it does have staining on both sides, not terribly but still.

I'll call in the morning, if they want to send me another jacket, fine but if not I guess it's going back.

Maybe it’s just coincidence, but it seems like most people posting that they have little to no staining on their figures are collectors located outside the U.S. Possible they cooked a bit in the shipping containers on the way to Sideshow?

No staining on mine and I'm in the US (Cali). Shipped from BBTS. But, mine was packed with the plastic head wrap pulled down inside the jacket collar.
