I'm keeping mine, i like the weathered outfit on V1 and you can display the new one with a completely different look. You have lots of time to decide this does not ship for a year

Same. Preordered this deluxe, but gunna keep v1 too. Especially since I have the rest of v1 team. The real Dilemma is now that I'm getting starlord v2 am I getting the rest of them too???

I have all of V1 too and this is all i'm getting so far. Skipping rocket, have Drax coming and will only get Gamora if HT goes crazy and gives her that big ass mother of all guns as an deluxe accessory . I really want Yondu and Nebula more than anything

I don't like gamora, i plan to get rocket, drax is a real dilemma though. Do i get the v1 that still hasn't been released yet (sheesh), or do i wait for a v2 drax.

I dont have the whole team nor will I, I like getting 1 fig from movies I really like. I may not like GOTG 2 at all BUT this version does come with the long coat so it can fill in for the first movie fig for me. Its on order and I will mull it over in the next few weeks, I wont make my decision till after I see the new movie.

So far it only looks like the color of his pants has changed so maybe HT will just toss in an extra pair of pants and a stand with stickers for whatever movie you want him to be from

They really just need to make him a generic non-movie specific figure and do just that, and release a DX... although what I'd have is two stand bases.. I wonder if it is too late to do something like that for the V1..

Nope, It's an outfit of one of the best scenes in the movie (and best Marvel movie title drop imo).

I would be surprised if they didn't give Drax a new headsculpt (laughing or screaming one).

I'm so glad I didn't get the first one and was patient (even I think they are both cool), but the Vol.2 is totally awesome, I think his likeness is fantastic.

I was checking Ebay a couple days ago, the 1st one dropped in his value at the moment. I remember I was looking for the 1st one in November and I coundn't find anything below $400, I saw maybe 2 or 3 sellers offering him. Right now I see at least 10 through Ebay. If you have doubts just wait for the second fig Vol.2 to be released, people will compare in person both figs and prices will adjust to the real market value again (especially if you paid a secondary market price for your 1st one.)

This is the way I got my Winter Soldier MMS241 at OK price ($290) through Ebay, right before MMS351 was released. But before that MMS241 was between $450-$600 through Ebay or Amazon (I believe Amazon still have this crazy price).

Wow the likeness isn't as good as the movie 1 figure, glad I have the first figure instead. I also don't like his t-shirt in this film, I prefer the plain textless shirt he wears in movie 1.

The partial transforming helmet is a cool addition though.

But yeah, sculpt is a bit weak.
