But we long timers know that the effort is really only put into Marvel DC and New SW now....

I hardly buy HT anymore, since the majority of what I'm interested in turns out like this.

I don't want this "take what we give you" crap. But at the same time, you're not getting this anywhere else or ever again. It's a ****** first world collector problem.

I'll get this, because this isn't going to be a John Matrix situation and sit in warehouses for years and get discounted. I can't wait on it.

I saw those pics without first reading what you'd said and I found myself hoping I was looking at the Hot Toys. That's a very good sculpt.

And this was sacrificed on the unlicensed cross to give us Reanu Keeves.

I think it looks excellent. Not perfect, but pretty good!
The bigger issue for me is the height. It's listed at 32cm... that's over 12 1/2 inches tall. No way Keanu is 6'6".
That's gonna make this figure as tall as my War Machine Mk1 diecast. Way too tall in my opinion for Neo.

I still don't think this Hot Toys sculpt is terrible but I agree that the one you posted is better which, in itself, is frustrating - to immediately see a better option. Anyone who has that sculpt should hold onto it and take what may be superior clothes and gear from the Hot Toys.

Jokes aside, I really hope they make some changes before this releases. That sculpt you posted looks perfect.

Hopefully they won't release Smith with the Red Skull head too, but I could totally see them being that lazy.

I could see them releasing Smith with the Red Skull head too, which is a shame.

Seeing how Ripley progressively got worse, I doubt they won't cut corners with this one too.

It ain't like I'm senseless **** talking this thing, I want to like it.

Is it their worst? Of course not. It's just part of the middle class of sculpts they've done where you know who it is, but you're not knocked over by it. That's unacceptable given were creeping into $300 MMS territory.

I guess it's more frustration when we've seen a grossly superior sculpt prior to this, and were saddled with the inferior version.

Saw this on Hot Toy's webstie this morning.I got excited for a minute before I realized, man I really liked the matrix reloaded costume. I think I will wait to pre order/ buy this until I hear more about if they will continue the line or not.

Looks good, but they skimped on the accessories a little. Rewatched the lobby scene on youtube, and Neo should have four Berettas: two tucked into his pants and two in the double shoulder holster.

Last one I felt lucky with was the Robocop and Murphy 2 pack, god that was a beaut

that being said I do like this fig and will order it, really hope Smith is next up, but im sure their seeing how this does. And for anyone wanting to wait for a reloaded ver... it took us this long to get this, dont not order it in hopes of something better because it may not come

Initial reaction……everything looks good. Likeness is great. Not interested in the license but for those who are you should be happy with what you are seeing.

About bloody time! The likeness is unmistakable as well though they could tighten it up just a tad, it’s a bit like the Ripley glazed over look.
