Or Jake Sully from Avatar but no Neytiri. Taylor and Barnes from Platoon but no Elias. The T-800 from T1 but no Kyle Reese. Batman from Batman Returns but no Penguin or Catwoman. Marty from BTTF part I but no Doc from part I. Thankfully Hot Toys has never been that cruel.

The Doc from BTTF is the most baffling; especially since they made him for BTTF 2. Did they ever even preview a Doc from BTTF at a show?

After seeing how great the final figure looks I now think it will work perfectly well on its own. But a Trinity and Morpheus would still be really damn cool to have, and make for an even better display.

No but our own explanation is that since the Doc's outfit appeared in the end of part 1, we might as well count it as 1. Which leaves us technically missing a Doc from part 2...

Anyway this thread is about Neo.
Pre-ordered from my local store. Hopefully they still have it as it's sold out at the distributor.
My last experience was they over the Iron Man Gantry.

I canceled this last week and I think I'm going to order again after seeing some videos. (I hate this hobby, it changes my mind every day )

I want to pose him with Smith but his figure's fate is unknown. If they cancel Smith maybe we can build a custom figure with red skull head.

The weirdest thing is it's Doc's outfit from the future, so end of part 1/beginning of part 2, but the sculpt better represents young Doc from the '50s. The figure almost perfectly represents his face in the scene where the model catches fire, minus the goggles and headwound.

I'm not expecting Hot Toys to release all of the mentioned figures. It just would be great if we get them. Just surprised that several would be fine just Neo.

I would buy Smith before buying Trinity or Morpheous....even if it comes with a chair. If it was Neca making a full line, sure I'd buy them all, including the albino twins, Mouse, sassy French guy, and the architect. But HT prices, I have to cherry pick and given the choice, I'll take a Reloaded Neo even before Smith wearing the wrong color suit. Give me Reloaded Neo with the weapons he used and if they want to get creative, a clear stand with some bullets frozen in midair to place in front of neo doing the stopping the bullets pose in his monk/the one outfit.

Well, confession time. I used to have all the original SW Kenner lines (figures and vehicle) and most of the Neca/Mcfarlane stuff of the films variety.

Sold them all, and used the cash to travel the world. Which is where I saw HT in person for the first time (Akihabra Japan).

Since then I have been re acquiring the best of my original collection in 1/6.

The ONE figure I kept chasing and didnt nail down from the 1/12 days was Morpheus. This set is still in my estimation, one of the best 1/12 representations of any film character made.
So having it in this format in 1/6 would be a must have.....

I think Neo will be a big seller, I also think collectors are fed up with the countless Star Wars / Marvel figs from HT. It seems like that's all HT ever makes anymore, so when a non SW / Marvel fig comes out it seems like a real novelty.

I hope it sells well. It seems to be sold out in most online stores. Hopefully, he's not the last figure. I'm still thinking about which pose I want to use for the figure, the, "No" stops the bullets, dodging bullet pose, or the one hand flip shooting the M 16.

I love Iminime sculpt. But was considering "resurrected version" to use the other sculpt.
