Okay, now I understand the “too good to be true” part of this, but how exactly do these Ebayers screw you (if they indeed do)? They’re all Hong Kong sellers. They have Dooku, Yoda, Obi-wan and various marvel sixth scale listed as brand new for $49.99 some sellers are $74.99... what’s the deal with these? All positive reviews. All free shipping and free returns. All they just bootleg figures? I’m just curious. Thanks
They’re all scams. Send them money and you get nothing.

Even through eBay? I’ve never had any issues getting funds returned when I had any issues with eBay sellers. That’s why I wondered what the deal was. I know it’s not legit, I just thought perhaps there was something I was overlooking that makes them get away with it.
It always amazes me when people fall for this. But as the old saying goes: there's a sucker born every minute.
Just the fact that someone inquires about the legitimacy. Like, do they really think the answer will be: its a great deal, totally on the level, do it.

What amazes me is that eBay and PayPal aren’t more careful since they are the ones who ultimately lose. Considering how often this happens on eBay, you’d think it would be worth it for them to spend the money policing it a little better. People know they are protected when they purchase, And try even though it looks suspicious, so who’s really the sucker? They’ll be reimbursed eventually, but PayPal loses out.
They scam as much money as they can, withdrawing it from Paypal until eBay bans their account.
Paypal refunds the customer, but if there's no money in the seller's account then Paypal can't recoup their loss from the seller.
It's a scam against Paypal using the customer's money.
